At Le Batifole we felt liked we are at a friend's place. Their staffs are personable, they know their dishes, and, of course they speaks French fluently. The ambiance is cosy giving this is only a maximum 45 seatings restaurant. I had converted to be...More

I stumbled onto this restaurant totally by chance and what a lucky chance it was! Although many of the dishes weren't meant for a vegetarian, the waiter was very patient and helpful in finding dishes that would meet my needs. I had only an appetizer...More

We returned, with a friend, after absence of more than a year and realized that we should have come back much sooner. Food was perfect, selection ample, service pleasant. It's far from the madding crowd and looks unassuming while maintaining the highest standard.

Saw the reviews online and we really wanted to have a nice meal out during our holiday so made reservations for this in advance. In a Wednesday evening, you could have easily gotten a table as a walk-in but I imagine it would get pretty...More

As good as it gets for French bistro cuisine. Unassuming, cozy restaurant with personable attentive service. Chef made his rounds to each table, nice touch! Tables are somewhat close together, but the food is excellent. Freshly baked baguette is excellent. The rilletes were very tasty,...More

I have to be honest, I was first attracted to this place because it was where they filmed the Chinese Restaurant scene from the movie A Christmas Story. After seeing what good reviews it got however we decided to take some friends there to celebrate...More

We arrived to a warm and relaxed atmosphere with friendly, efficient service and delicious food. The portions are generous and nicely seasoned. The John Dory fish with mushrooms and lemon creme sauce was excellent. I am hoping to return soon.

this is our third time at Le Batifole and the chef has impressed us, again. I was joined by my friend from Provence and she said it was heaven. I keep ordering the duo canard as I love duck and the fish soup which is...More

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that
team up to make this district one of the most
multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT
community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or
night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its
thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more
relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,
