It's not a fancy place. During summer it's better to sit outside. Service is good and food is very good. Beef carpaccio with lettuce, capers, carrots and celery is in amazing harmony of tastes and textures. Probably one of the best carpaccio in GTA. Escargots...More

This quaint restaurant with limited seating was a big disappointment. The garlic escargot was very tasty and thought this would be an indication of good things to follow. The steak was under cooked and tough. The La Gaffe bouillbaise was visually unappealing, with over cooked...More

It couldn’t have been a better late September day to enjoy a lunch on the sunny front patio under the canopy of an old tree while a light breeze rustled their leaves. We started with an amazing Yucatan Yam soup with hints of ginger, coconut...More

Went for summerlicious fixed price dinner. Found out after deal on Groupon was cheaper - know better next time. It is an old house - very narrow with few indoor tables. Because it was a very hot day the indoor tables seemed too close; no...More

The sauces make all the difference: salad with olive oil and balsamic reduction - excellent; black angus striploin steak - wonderful brandy Madagascar peppercorn sauce, enough to add to garlic mashed potatoes; fish with a tequila cream sauce. Traditional French desserts - creme brule or...More

I enjoyed the fixed price lunch here. The food was very tasty. Sitting outside on this quiet street was pleasant. Efficient service.

Wow, many selections for the Summerlicious menu. Loved the back patio, has been added on, with a lovely tree part of the patio. The La Gaffe salad was delicious, and my son had the beef carpaccio and enjoyed it. The rack of lamb was tender...More
