We loved this quaint little Italian restaurant tucked in a old home on Elm Street. Our party of 2 ate indoors at a table rugt by the window so we could watch the world go by. The location is very convenient if going to the...More

This little restaurant is in a renovated old home around the corner from the Eaton Centre. We had dinner on the second floor patio on a beautiful August night and were enchanted. The dinner was relaxed so we did not mind the somewhat slow service....More

This restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel. I hoped it would be as good as it looked! And it was!!! I had the ravioli special - homemade ravioli with ricotta and mushrooms served in a pesto/cilantro sauce. Beyond delicious!!! My husband had shrimp...More

What a great experience! We were met at the door right away and brought up to our reserved table. The wait staff worked as a team and we were pleasantly surprised with the service. The food was excellent with good portion size. The atmosphere was...More

Great restaurant, great service. Will defiantly return when back in Toronto. I don't know our servers name. But his # on the receipt is 003. A nice block walk from Dundas square. Worth the detour !

We chose Donatello to have dinner with a friend before seeing the Carole King Musical. The food was as good as ever. The Caprese salad crisp and full of flavours and the Veal and Pasta cooked to perfection. They offer an extensive and interesting wine...More

This restaurant is inside an old building. It is long and thin which made it feel crowded, in fact the couple sitting next to us were encroaching on our bench space and our table was not centred which meant the person on the bench had...More

It is like many good Italian restaurants. Good food and pleasant surroundings. They were very helpful and attentive. Nice table looking out. The owner helped with a good wine suggestion. I had Pasta a la vongole and thought it excellent. I would go again. Obviously...More

We tried to reach adjacent restaurant around 16.00 but it opened at 16.30. Although Donatello opened the same time, they offered us a seat. House wine was very good. The food was ok, but nothing special. Try the creme brûlée!

We had dinner at Donatello: bruschetta, spaghetti, chicken ceasar salad and had cheesecake for desert. Also good selection of wine per glass. Everything tasted very good, services was friendly as well.

It's a lovey 15-20 minute walk. Not sure what else is nearby. Lots good restaurants just south of hotel. West of maple leaf square. (10 minute walk) and close to the lake.
