The best pasta i have eaten in a long time. Made especially for my dietary restrictions! I asked for no tomato sauce, or spaghetti sauce, with light olive oil, and they didn't disappoint! Having been to italy, this was equally good, in comparison. With a bit of chicken and a light sprinkling of cheese, it was fantastic. Moderately priced. The... More

I came here with a friend for dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant is bigger than it appears to be from outside and inside the decor is very rustic and simple. Many Italian flags, pictures and maps on the walls. There are daily specials listed on the board near the pizza oven and the menu has many options. You... More

The pizza is always exceptional- they will make you anything you ask for if it is possible and the service is fast and fun. It is our go to restaurant.

They greet and welcome kids. Bring them bread and non-spill cups immediately. Serve their food first if you wish (yes, please). Volunteered to substitute a potentially less messy pasta shape for the kids. Split portions for smaller kids. Even pre-cut the tartufo into manageable bite-sized pieces for little kids. Atmosphere is cheery, positive, and full of families ... and also... More

Once a happening place, Ferraro has gone downhill. Was there last week with friends. Pasta was just sad. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar was sad (and they're in plastic bottles on the table...really?!?). Bread...meh. Far better Italian eateries in the city. Take a pass on this one.

We love Italian food and on Eglinton there is lots of choice. Instead of hitting our usual go-to place a few doors away, we decided to try Ferraro 502. What a pleasant discovery. The place has a relaxed, easy going vibe. The two rooms are neither crowded nor noisy, just comfortable. Service was exceptional - ice water seconds after we... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
