The menu has a nice variety and on the weekends there's brunch options. I had pizza and my wife had French toast and we were both happy with our meals.

Went in for a quick breakfast/lunch and I didn't regret it. Staff was very service minded and smiling. I'm a waitress myself and I'm very strict about service. Food came quickly and was very well made. I will recommend this place to others for sure, no doubt. I payed $12 for a breakfast plate, coffee and water.

We often drop into this place before a hockey game. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is good. They always have a special. We enjoy the Golden Tee golf game and usually play it during our visit. We always leave happy!

Had lunch recently with a group of friends having visited the ROM. The place is convenient but only average. Food was disappointing and overpriced although the staff are friendly and helpful.

I'm pretty easy going when it comes to food but when you go to the ROM and are in an upscale neighbourhood...you expect the food to be better than...meh. I had the worst steak sandwich I've ever had. It was dry and served on garlic bread...without the top bun, no sauce or anything just a couple of mushrooms and some... More

Located right across the street from the ROM, Gabby's offers a good, reasonably-priced alternative to the eatery inside the museum. We had sandwiches and both were good, fries were crisp and tasty. Service was average; not slow but not speedy either.

When we arrived to the restaurant there was a line of people before us. We waited for 10 minutes and the waitress asked if it was fine for us to eat at the bar because there were no more tables available at that time. Since we were short on time, we accepted. The same waitress came and gave us the... More

I was presented with a plate of fish and chips. I thought this would be a safe bet, but o' contraire. Qualified kitchen staff would make a world of difference for this place. My fish was cooked in old oil which was too hot. Burnt on the outside, under cooked on the inside. The fries were cooked in the same... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
