Reminded me of Paris. Very friendly staff, make you feel like family. Great authentic French experience. Great food. Only downside no take out 😞

This is a lovely family run business has been running for over 30years . Very French and pleasant staff with an excellent menu at fair prices. Upstairs off Cumberland easy to get to but slightly hidden which adds to it's charm. Not pretentious or stuffy...More
This was my first time at Jacques and can't believe I didn't know of it before. There are few places in Toronto where you can have an authentic French (not Quebecois) experience and this is one of them. The place isn't large and so things...More

As always Jacques Bistro is a delight. We dropped by on a cold and blustery winter's day for lunch. The staff who are all French were welcoming and found us a table beside the dessert table even though we didn't have a reservation. After a...More
When a reservation at another restaurant fell through due to a chef's illness we scrambled to find somewhere else. This tiny, noisy, busy, French restaurant on Cumberland was able to accommodate 4 of us.
