Totally go there. Great food, love the njeera (sp?) bread. Service is meh but oh well. Could be cheaper but the food is so good. We order a platter for 2 and always have leftovers.

Introducing a friend to the wonderful flavours of Ethiopian food. They keep the restaurant nice and toasty. The prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good. There is an option for authentic injera from Ethiopian (gluten/free) for a surcharge. The wats and kitfo were...More

First time trying Ethiopian Cuisine so have nothing to compare to. The food was as expected with some spicy flavours. We ordered the Lalibela Special for two. It had plenty of meat (spicy chicken, lamb, beef) and vegetable dishes included - all served on the...More

It is hard to give an overall rating when I experience good and bad, but the poor service had such a negative effect on the overall experience that "poor" is what Lalibela gets. Our food was good: a nicely presented platter of various stews with...More

What a great assortment, ethiopian or otherwise. Eat with your fingers on your choice of gluten-free injera & a smattering of mouth-watering, tasty 'stews'. Lentil soup to write home about & carrot cake so delicious, it's hard to keep it in stock! My latest favourite,...More

I was impressed by the food quality (and quantity as well). One suggestion though would be to have more than one person serving, especially on weekends as it was a little busy on our visit. Otherwise the food was good and the restaurant itself, quite...More
