This was the first time I had been back to this restaurant since summerlious. I was extremely impressed and would normally never give an excellent rating but this one is deserved. Went for dinner, the food was outstanding a much better menu than the limited...More

I booked on a recommendation. The location is excellent; easy parking (free after 9pm on weeknights) and the French 'Montreal' ambiance and decor are great - clean restrooms! The staff are welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, the food does not live up to its reputation. We...More

Revisited an old favorite and had a terrific dinner. I had the tourtiere (a Quebec meat pie) followed up by Crepe Suzette which, although not on the menu, our server asked the kitchen to make for us. The wine list is well-chosen. The server was...More

Had a lovely meal last night. The pate is excellent and can highly recommend the house pie, which is a traditional one for the area I believe. The service was excellent and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. No rush, just about enjoying the food....More

First I must complain that they had a special menu and were out of the pork and the fish got a frown from the waiter...so we ordered ala carte...hmmmmmm. We had chicken and lamb dishes which, as in th e French tradition, were well prepared...More

Went for summerlicious and had some nice food. Good deal @ $18/ 3 course meal. Staff was a tad slow, but very accommodating and kind. Soup was a little thin. Salad was simple and elegant, but not very satisfying. Fish and chips was good, but...More

I felt comfortable being a single female in this restaurant and also saw families and couples enjoying dinner. However, I found the crepes were too sweet (this was a main course dinner crepe) and were too dry/crispy on the edges and tough in the center.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to

Le Papillon on Front is located in the heart of Old Town Toronto. Inside of a beautiful Old Town Toronto building with exposed brick walls and high lofty ceilings sits the beautiful venue for Le Papillon on Front. It's exposed brick is complemented well by the aged hardwood floor and perfectly soft lighting. The venue suggests a lovely mix of romance, comfort, and of course, the classic French bistro atmosphere that has followed Le Papillon to all of its locations. In the warmer months Le Papillon on Front even creeps its way onto Front street, giving a beautiful view of the Flatiron building as well as the CN tower in the distance. With a closed in patio adorned with wonderfully arranged planters you experience a private feel, even while sitting on the heart of Front Street.
