It must be difficult to replicate a good British chippy but this place does come close. On a wintery April Friday lunchtime I had to wait in line for a table. The place does have an old English pub feel to it and the service...More

This is definitely not your usual chippy! From the moment you walk, you feel a warm, friendly "pub" style atmosphere. There is a central rectangular bar area, with seating around. There are leather covered banquettes in one area, and regular tables and chairs elsewhere. The...More

We popped in for a quick bite as we were short of time. The place was mostly full with a few people waiting and a bunch of empty spots at the bar. We zipped to the bar and places our as we sat down. Cold...More

A perfect portion size and not too heavy on the grease - the halibut was delicious as were the fresh cut fries. I also enjoyed the distinctive tartar sauce. As this was for lunch, I had no room for dessert which looked delicious. A must...More

This is the most authentic fish and chips that we have had here in the GTA (and, believe me, as a Brit and Irish couple, we've tried them ALL!). We had haddock and chips, buttered bread and my husband also had mushy peas. To be...More

We have been to the Olde Yorke numerous times. We travel about 12 KM to get there and pass by dozens of other restaurants that serve fish and chips. None of them can measure up to the quality and service that we receive at Olde...More

Busy location. The service is very good. The halibut, fries, onion rings and salads are great. The chowder is also very good. Always a pleasure to come here.
