I am in Toronto regularly for business. Portico has become the restaurant that I always go to for dinner. They have several excellent items on the menu, the service is excellent and it is a nice quiet place at the end of a busy day....More

Is a pretty good location and nice decor on the inside. I had a McManus Chardonnay which was sublime. But the service and my main (blackened cod) were really quite average. Disappointing as very rarely do I find a restaurant that is 4 plus on...More

Had the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. Shrimp was very very flavorful. I love seafood that has the fragrance of the sea. Scallop had good doneness - not overly cooked, the moisture in the centre of scallop was well contained. Love it that they serve water...More

We chose this restaurant for its proximity to our hotel (The Hilton), but we were also looking for a restaurant that would be good for vegetarians as well as one that had gluten-free options and not too expensive! Portico fit the bill perfectly! We were...More

Have been eating here once a week lately for business. I typically order the Chicken Pad Thai. The absolute best. The service we have is impeccable. Our waiter remembers everything from our drinks to hoe much lemon I like. Highly recommend

I tend to avoid hotel dining rooms. Why eat in one, especially in a city like Toronto which has so many terrific restaurants? But it had been a long day, it was late, and we decided to just relax at the hotel. The meal was...More
