This place have a very different atmosphere. I believe they are known for their oysters and welcoming stuff. You have to try the oysters with lemon and green Tabsco. Also, they have a whole fish wich is tasty. However, it's not recomended for families with a lot of kids, specially conservatives, for example, they have R pics in the washrooms,... More

Stopped in for dinner last night after reading some reviews. The food we enjoyed was absolutely impeccable!! Eating raw oysters was something new for us, but we are so happy that we tried them. I would definitely indulge in raw oysters again, although next time I will be eating more of them. I'm not sure if we arrived at shift... More

Ordered half a dozen assorted oysters. They had a plate of different sauces to add as well for the oysters. Very, very tasty. I also had the oyster po'boy and fish and chips. Wish I had ate more when I was here. Service was very attentive and Rodney even came by. Reserve in advance.

This is a great restaurant for a casual group dinner. The restaurant set aside a table area for us by the bar to have some drinks and appetizers (including an assortment of delicious oysters) before sitting for dinner in a private room. The service was incredible. They were able to accommodate us in every way. The food was above average.... More

The oysters were delicious, don't get me wrong. Particularly their selection of east coast and fresh clams. What ruined things for us was the smell of the whole restaurant. There was a sour smell. It may have come from dirty cleaning clothes or something similar. Both my husband noticed immediately. I can't imagine others have not noticed.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
