New Orleans cuisine, like to be in the French Quarter. Perfect point on the meet and juicy cut. Very wonderful specialities like the vodoo shrimps, delicious, or the lobster, impressive.

Well in town we had to stop at our favourite establishment for a steak dinner as we always do anytime we are in a city with a Ruth's Chris (Toronto, Hawaii, Cancun, NYC). It didn't disappoint yet again, fantastic from arrival to departure. You won't find a better steak I can guarantee that!!

If you are craving a simply perfect steak, I highly suggest you visit this restaurant. I am a Toronto local and I have yet to hear anything negative about this steakhouse from any of our friends or family members. My husband and I dined there this past weekend and I honestly can't find a single flaw about the entire experience.... More

If you're looking for a spectacular steak this is the place. Meal was superb - steak was melt-in-your-mouth. Had the sweet potato, broccoli and caesar salad - simply fantastic. Extensive wine list and excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Bread pudding and cheesecake for dessert - you have to save room because they're absolutely delish. Finished off with Irish coffee. One of... More

I visited for lunch with a business group (they serve lunch on Fridays only I believe). The staff was friendly and the food was good. The steaks seemed a bit heavy for lunch, so most of the group opted for the salads (which were all good). It was a nice visit in all.

A business colleague and I went to Ruth's before a Leafs game earlier this week wearing our Leafs jerseys. Despite being a very nice, upmarket steakhouse no one skipped a beat when they saw our attire and they warmly welcomed us. The service was great (I think his name was John?). I had the ribsteak, which was substantial but frankly... More

The food was good, but for over $300 for two people, i don't see why people would go here more than once just to try it. The apps and sides we had seemed like Casey's would serve something simular, and their steaks aren't that special to charge the prices they do for them. After we left, my wife and i... More

I have enjoyed this Toronto favorite a few times over the years. It has never disappointed. The service is fast and efficient and the food and its preparation make it a great dining experience. I highly recommend this steak house.

This is one of the named places for a good steak so I had high hopes. I was here as a part of a group dinner so the menu was somewhat set but still there was quite a bit of variety. The hor doeuvres circulated were good - giant prawn cocktail and grilled beef on a stick. I had the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
