Ruth Chris is consitently Excellent. They have nice booths for date night like we were there for. The Filet, the photograph is on the Menu is my favourite. My lady enjoys the petit filet in keeping with her fitness goals.
Side dishes are ordered seperate, at extra cost to the steak. We enjoyed the Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes and Creamy Spinach. They come in seperat bowls and you help yourself as does your partner.
I visited previously for my Birthday and they treated me well.

For anyone who has not been to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse you MUST, given the impressive hospitality and service, classy ambiance, and the quality of the exquisite, decadent and beautifully plated, sumptuous food, and delicious specialty cocktails. A special mention to Lorne, who turned our dining experience into a magical occasion, and the most intimate and memorable experience. Lorne creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, asking your food and drink preferences before making thoughtful suggestions. He asked if we were celebrating something special, and when we told him we were not, he turned the evening into a night to remember! Nothing is too much trouble for him, and he is very engaging. Lorne is incredibly attentive, charismatic, and most definitely the “Crème de la Crème” of his industry! It is no surprise he was referred to by the manager as the “Top Dog.” It was wonderful to share our feedback with the manager, and to observe his commitment to the patrons at the restaurant. A shout out to the gracious staff who all work perfectly in sync with each other, ensuring the satisfaction of happy and appreciative diners. They are accommodating, providing careful instruction regarding sizzling meals, while adding to the exemplary service and enjoyment, Overall, a tremendous dining experience. You feel like you are a VIP from the moment you walk in. Perfection! We can’t wait to go again!

Excellent restaurant with exceptional food and service. It was our anniversary and the restaurant recognises that some people don't want a massive meal, so we were able to split our Crab Cake appetiser and the Large Ribeye Steak. The food was delicious and delivered at a nice slow pace, so we didn't feel rushed. We were gifted some lovely chocolate cheesecake on an anniversary plate, which was a nice touch. However we must mention our waiter Mike Sheehan, who sprung into action when a gentleman on an adjacent table started to choke on his food. Mike administered the Heimlich manoeuvre and saved the guys life! Well done to Mike and thanks for your great service!

Very poor meal. My mozzarella and tomatoes was overwhelmingly tomatoes with a few pieces of Mozza on top. My lamb chops were a good size but were much more medium well rather than medium. They also had a liberal sprinkling of salt on which rather spoilt them. I had asked for a side of French fries. What eventually arrived was a mound of over cooked, dark brown greasy strips of luke warm potatoes. Eventually the waiter offered to replace them, which I declined, at least he knocked them off the bill The mint sauce was slow in arriving, never understand why it is not brought to the table once the order for Lamb has been taken. Nine out of ten folk are going to want it, yet inevitably you have to wait for it. Waiter leaning towards being rude and offhand, very disappointed, would never come back here and would think twice before going to another branch.

Just had dinner at the Ruth’s on Dixon near the Pearson Airport. Mixed feelings but left wanting to come back for the steak and herb butter. The ceasar salad was unerwhelming, lacked colour was on a flat plate, romain did not seem very fresh. The waiter did not come by to see how it was. I was looking for him for 10 minutes becasue I wanted a napkin. The desert fine but came 10 minuites before my coffee. I mentioned it to the waiter and gave me the reasone that he waited for a fresh cup. Last when getting up I put my hand on the table it almost flipped, It appears they put a peace of plywood loosly on a small table to make it larger. A litter dangerous for elderly people who often put their wait on the table to help them get up. I may come back thought since the taste of the steak and butter was so exceptional.

Had divided a 11oz filet steak, med well..expect a filet to be tender was not. As it was a large steak my husband and I split it. The fully loaded potato does not come that way ..the potato was cut in half, then they bring a small container of bacon, sour cream and butter that you put together. The waiter did not come back to ask if we wanted coffee/tea or desert. He was to busy catering to another table and another waitress drop off our bill as she saw that we were waiting to pay .

Fantastic dining experience. I have never been disappointed with a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Toronto was no exception! It was our wedding anniversary and my wife and I split a Tomahawk Ribeye. Who doesn’t love a steak that comes to the table sizzling in a plate of butter… seriously!! Cooked to perfection, and everything was delicious. Our waiter Matthew was top notch and made sure our anniversary was extra special with a custom dessert. Highly recommended!

We went to celebrate her 60th birthday party and we were greeted right away. They see this even before scheduled time I told him it was for a surprise birthday they brought balloons to the table and confetti service was excellent. The food was delicious highly recommend the Lyonnais potatoes, porterhouse steak brussels sprouts Ahi tuna for starter delicious

It was my brother inlaw and sister in laws 30th wedding anniversary so we decided to splurge. It is an upscale restaurant with high end service. I had the shrimp cocktail which was very delicious and tender, then the salad, then brought out the ribeye steak cooked to perfection on a sizzling platter and garlic mashed potatoes which were also very delicious. After the meal was a scoop of delicious ice cream. Before they brought out desert our waiter brought out a tray with chocolate covered strawberries and lit it on fire and written happy anniversary in chocolate sauce. It was awesome. Overall everything was fantastic and our waiter was superb.

First off my waiter LORNE is the best waiter I've ever had in my life. Extremely profession and kind. He had recommended the best shrimp I've ever have which was the shrimp voodoo . The texture of the shrimp and the sauce was delicious. My filet was cooked to perfection... everything was prompt and perfect to be honest ... I've been to alot of steakhouses and nice restaunts in canada in the US and this was the best I've been to so far HIGHLY RECOMMEND see you again

This was my first time trying this restaurant. To start, we ordered the caesar salad. For our mains, we had the stuffed chicken breast, New York Strip, mashed potatoes, broccoli and fire roasted corn. Overall, the food tasted good. The interior of the restaurant is modern and elegant. I would dine here again in the future.

I had a Veal chop. , very tender
The food presentation, very poor.
The tiny plates don't look good , bad idea of bringing the plates extremely hot to the table ( it should be warm plates )
My wife ordered the mini medallions with shrimp cooked medium, by the time she started eating , the beef was well done cause was still cooking on the extremely hot plates.. the shrimp become dry
The side order of broccoli was cooked to perfection
$24 extra charge not mandatory by the city is very inconvenient!!

We had dinner the two guys had the 19 oz ribeye steak for CAD 90 each. The waiter said it comes from the US midwest. I have to say a dream could not be better! Highly recommend the great mashed potatoes (with nice garlic taste) and the spinach. Wine like always forget it in canada a good californian is way overpriced due to the high import taxes. So overall great, pricey place even compared to our Swiss standards (Swiss GDP per capita is twice the Canadien level…)

We are always elated when we have an event at Ruth's Chris on Dixon. We had a memorial event honouring our late Mother who absolutely loved Ruth's Chris! She had almost every milestone event for our family celebrated at Ruth's Chris. Not only because of the amazing food, but also the exceptional customer service and staff. When i went to book the event Jacob and Emily made everything so easy and effortless. They answered all my questions swiftly and accommodated our asks with the utmost respect and diplomacy. On the day of the event it was perfect. My Mother had always requested Vince and Lydia to serve any event we had. Today we follow that same tradition. For my Mother, Lydia and Vince represented the highest standard of customer service and serving etiquette. And they still do today. We always have a wonderful time at Ruth's Chris and will always include them in our celebrations.

First time at this location. Very disappointing experience considering the high prices that keep escalating! Went with husband - sides were tiny...steaks were just okay, mine was requested medium rare, but it was more medium, well . We say how another table was treated when they complained! Never again.
