We hadn't been to Sher-E-Punjab since before the pandemic, and we were glad to get back to it for a dinner celebrating the recent birthday of a friend. We shared a number of dishes, all of them tasty. The Lamb Saag was my favourite; I also liked my mulligatawny soup.

Excellent food. Best in Danforth area. Naan are outstanding, Tandoori are delicious as well as Byriani. Very nice service.

We love this place. The people are super gracious, and the food is the best, as well as being reasonably priced.

Maybe I'm spoiled by the quality of such five star Indian restaurants like the Host or Aroma, but I really honestly found the dishes here pretty nasty. I got the Tandoori lamb chops which were as dry and tough as leather, and drenched in oil. The tandoori chicken was actually not bad but the lamb curry was dreadful: greasy, overcooked lamb and overpowered with the taste of carrots. Actually I should give credit for the chickpea dish which was delicious. Overall though, definitely not worth the price. Servers were officious but not particularly friendly which maybe explains why the place is empty most of the time.

Came here on a Saturday night for a Birthday celebration with some friends. The waiters were super friendly and the food was good however the restaurant spends it’s entire time catering to those scumbag Uber Eats drivers who constantly were coming in ruining the atmosphere.
It took us 2 hours to get our food - our waiter seemed to forget we were there. Tables around us were being served and of course the scumbag Uber Eats people were also getting their orders quickly.
Even though they forgot about our food there was nothing other than an apology to make up for it.
We would think twice about coming back here. I understand that restaurants need to make money but you need to seriously rethink your business model or have those scumbags go to the back door.

This place has the BEST Indian food in Toronto, in my opinion. Always super fresh and reasonably priced. We cannot get enough of it!

I’m in love with this place! The service is incredible and friendly. I’m always amazed when I get good service in Toronto (often doesn’t happen). The food is delightful, flavourful and I find myself saying “mmm” after every bite which annoys my wife but it’s just so good! If you haven’t been to this gem on the Danforth, go now !! Cheers.

Time and time again we have been very happy with our food. A great place for vegan options without hesitation. Delivery is also an option.

I have been coming here for years but it had been a while and was delighted to return to a fresh new decor but still the most wonderful food! From the Naan on, the food is delicious, flavourful, not too spicy and just enough to take home for lunch the next day!

There were seven of us, so we were able to try a broad array of dishes, starting with pacoras and ending with dessert ( three kinds are available; I had the mango ice cream). The ambiance is agreeable, the food generally very good, the service competent, and the prices reasonable. Recommended.

This a gem of a restaurant. Great food at great prices and good portion size (on the large, shareable side of things).
Tasty Raita, really deep Vindaloo and one of the best -if not the best- tandoori Chicken in Toronto.
A great find.

We were five. Pakoras, Rice, Nan, Sher-e-Punjab sizzling Tikka chicken, Butter Chicken, Beef Vindaloo (spicy beef dish for the 2 spice lovers), Aloo Ghobi (potato and cauliflower), Lamb Saag, Palaak Paneer (spinach, broccoli and cheese), Indian beer, red wine and a Delhi cocktail. Service was professional friendly and helpful. In fact the waitress didn’t write anything down and remembered everything. Pretty restaurant, comfortable seating. Even a TV screen if you are inclined to watch “the” game. Didn’t have dessert because we were too full. Very reasonable prices and worth every penny. Definitely a place to go for Indian food.

Nice Indian food in Toronto. Great ambience and service. Lamb chops were amazing and highly recommended.
The cocktails specially vodka based need to be tried.
