I love terroni, I have eaten at two of the three locations in the past. My experience patio dining during covid did not meet any of my expectations. There were many servers standing around on the patio but no one could be found when we...needed anything. Felt rushed to order and food came out cold. Heaters had little to no effect to warm the area and it seemed like the staff was hiding out to stay warm. Wasn't offered pepper or parmesan when the meal arrived. Considering there was No One on the patio, I thought I'd at least receive attentive service. When I spoke to one of the staff I was told he was not a server. My hope is that these issues never occur again.More

We were very excited for our first visit to Terronis on Yonge with our friends who have been here a number of times. We have a two year old and our friends had been there on the patio with a child before and found it...very child friendly for an afternoon meal. As soon as we arrived we were met with attitude. From the person (“The host”) at the door, servers and manager as we left. We were courteous and respectful to all staff here but the same was not given to us. Nice food and setting but that’s where it ends! We as a party were not informed that the table was booked for another group after us. The place was pretty empty regardless of covid protocol numbers. After our meal the server asked us did we want more food, coffees or drinks. Two of our party ordered one more beer each and our bills at the same time (with no knowledge of another party waiting for the table otherwise would not have ordered). The server had no problem taking the order for the beer and Once bills and TIP were received He had the cheek to come back and say we needed to move NOW off the table as the other party was here waiting and Proceeded to physically remove the drinks from the hands of the people who had ordered them. What shady service is that. There was a pizza dropped at The Center of our table that we did not order and the server came back removed it and literally dropped it to the people beside us!!! Covid? Are you kidding me? That food should have been dumped and a fresh pizza given to Those other customers. They never offered a high chair for the child with us. They made up that strollers were not allowed on the patio, why? No reason given. When we knew for sure and checked that people who have frequented this place before brought their strollers to the patio Even during covid. When we left the manager spoke so rudely about us trying to get our stroller down the stairs on the designated route Out. This route did not include the elevator which is perfectly fine. We followed covid rules outlined by this place And respected them. Offer help not a nasty attitude and as a manager? Wow! Terroni you need to reassess who you hire into managerial positions. One of the people In our party went back to Complain to the manager after this incident and this manager pretended he was horrified that someone would speak to a customer like he did when it was him that was the rude Unhelpful person. I am shocked at an establishment who charge what they do and treat customers like an inconvenience. Disgrace. I feel it was because we had a small child with us. This was our experience and will be sharing it with all our colleagues and friends!More

We were celebrating a birthday. The rooftop terrace was nice and we were off to the side so very easy to communicate. The waiter was a little abrupt. Didn't like that his mask had a blow hole that was venting right to the immune compromised...elderly person at the table. He continually reach over us to get things at the table. Now the food. I had the seafood spaghetti. 4 mussels, 1 shrimp, 2 baby scallops and 2 baby clams. Only the shrimp wasn't overcooked. The "spicy" sauce was not and lacked flavor. I was not the only one at the table to say the food was just ok. Despite the reservation saying celebrating a birthday. There was not recognition. We didn't bother discussing with the "cold" waiter. I would not rush back to this one. There's so many good Italian restaurants in this city. Not to mention this is the time to ramp up service!!!!!More

I ordered the scrambled eggs with toast for brunch that was $21 dollars. Rather than come with TWO slices of toast like a normal restaurant, or ONE slice of toast like a stingy restaurant, it came with HALF a slice of toast. I finished the...half slice in two bites and was leftover with just scrambled eggs. Why not just give people the full piece of toast?!?! I left hungry and ate another meal when I got home. Would NOT recommend.More

Good service and delicious food to match. It’s nice and light for Italian food and always fresh tasting. Pastors are normally cooked perfectly. And they have really delicious salads as well. The only thing that bugs me is that they don’t allow any alterations or...substitutions on their menu items. Apparently the chefs there feel like substitutions compromise the integrity of their food, which I find a bit pretentious. They have very delicious fried calamari that they serve with only lemon wedges. Would it be the end of the world to offer a fresh marinara sauce for dipping? Or a homemade aioli? Otherwise there is a lot that I love about this place. I always buy a jar of their pepperoncini that they keep by the entrance. I highly recommend it, it’s delicious on just about everything I cook up at home.More

We walked to the restaurant from a nearby side street with free parking. Certainly there is street and Green P availability, but there is no designated restaurant operated lot to my knowledge.
