We chose to come here on a cold evening, looking forward to harira soup. We were disappointed by the thin broth and lack of flavour. The lamb shank was nice, but the vegetables that came with it in the freekah were practically raw, instead of...infused with savoury flavours of Morocco. The baklava was tough, not delicate. And the staff were hovering around us too much, interrupting our conversations and snatching dishes from us before we'd finished our last bites. Please wait until everyone at the table has finished that course before clearing while others are still eating. And if you see that the guests are in mid-conversation, don't hover and interrupt. Just go about your work until you see the guests are amenable to it. It seemed like we had every staff member waiting on us, and it was just too much forced attention that disrupted our visiting.More

We went there August 16th for our 40th anniversary and found this place to be outstanding in every way. The waiter was one of the best we have ever had. He was Informed when it came to the menu and he was a pleasure to...talk to. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Prices were reasonable. The Belly Dancer was a unique experience. I have no complaints at all about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different.More

This place is a complete joke! Moroccan food prepared Indian style. Belly dancing “show” that was actually a single 10-minutes performance. Poor quality main courses, tiny tasteless appetisers (except for the Maftuul). Weird seating, dim lighting. Super overpriced and a huge disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend nor...return to this place.More

The atmosphere and theming of the restaurant is great - it really does transport you off to Morocco. We sat in the “café” area of the restaurant where you order from the à la carte menu. The food was delicious, especially the Maftoul, Eggplant Zaalouk,...Merguez Tajine and Meatball Tajine. The service was professional, friendly and attentive. I highly recommend The Sultan’s Tent & Café Maroc.More

Originally the restaurant lost our reservations for the dinner/show. They gave us a table in the back corner where we couldn't really see the show. The food was good, very good even. But I found the seating cramped and a little uncomfortable for such a...long dining experience. We were out celebrating two birthdays and were somewhat underwhelmed. It didn't live up to the reviews we received from other people.More

We had a wonderful experience! We went to celebrate a birthday and had the price fix menu which had a lot of choices. The service was excellent and the servers moved at your pace; they would check if we wanted time between courses. During the...dinner was the show performed in the eating area (tents). The performance was very good with a dancer and a drum player. The show was the right amount of time and made the dinner and experience wonderful. I’ve never had Moroccan food so this was a first and it was delicious. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meal. There was many options - lamb, beef, chicken, seafood - something for everyone. The owner(manager?) came out to see how we were enjoying ourselves which was such a nice personal touch. Thank you for a great evening. (Health and Safety protocols were in place and we were very comfortable)More

Absolutely amazing in every way. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was unmatched by anything else I have ever experienced. 100% recommend. If you haven't checked it out yet, do!

I was really looking forward to try out this restaurant, one of the few Moroccan of the city. I came in around 9 o’clock, ready to order my lamb couscous, but was turned away. Indeed, the kitchen was reportedly closing. At 9pm. In Toronto, a...city of 6.5 million people. It’s annoying, and makes you lose business. It’s not welcoming either.More
