We ordered 3 starters and 3 main course. The food arrived very quickly and was cooked to good quality. Prices were reasonable and we were happy with the service. All in all it is recommended.

We have been to Zaffron multiple times as the food and service are quite good. From appetizers to their grilled meats everything is worth trying and tasting.

We arrived late, near closing time. Some of the group had never sampled Iranian dishes. The wait staff did not rush us, took time to explain different menu items, and were available for questions. The food was very tasty (only mildly spicy), and plentiful. We'd gladly go back if ever in Toronto again.

I love visiting this restaurant any time we are in North Toronto as it has the most authentic, fresh and tasty Persian food I have experienced (I grew up with a Persian best friend so I have her mom’s cooking as a gold standard. Unfortunately the dining room was closed due to COVID restrictions this past weekend when we were in town but we stopped there anyways to eat some Aush soup and warm Zaffron flatbread on the patio (delicious!) and drink their freshly brewed tea. As the weather was a bit chilly we ordered the rest of our meal to go but enjoyed it just as much on our own dining room table. Their chicken kebab, dill rice, lamb shank and kefta (giant beef meatball) all made for a splendid feast when we got home. I really wish the owners well during these difficult times and if I lived in the same city I would be ordering this food weekly!

Service is terrible, overcharge. Waitresses do not know how to serve clients, the owner is careless about clients. No clients first thought that due to COVID people do not go to restaurants, later realized that clients do not come back.

Authentic Persian with in house wood burning ovens. Very wide selection in the menu and very reasonable prices.

Zaffron has been around since 1998. It was one of the first persian restaurants in our area. Zaffron has provided toronto with an authenticity you can only get back home. As a persian, I can speak for my community and say we are not "aligned". All these review sites are plagued with competitors rather than customers. I don't usually review but in this case I had to. Zaffron is great for kebob, stews, and thin crust fire oven pizza. There's a reason it's been around a long time. Oh and on the weekend - they have free live music entertainment. Thank you to the owners who have endured a recession and helped put persian eats on the map in Toronto. Yonge and Steeles is now informally coined "Tehranto" - and this is in large part due to the eskandari family's passion for cusine in Toronto. Thanks!

Have been to this Iranian restaurant several times now and still love it. In fact, loved it so much - I brought out 30 of my closest loved ones to celebrate my birthday. This restaurant has ample food and drinks; caters to large parties; has excellent service for all its guests; and offers good pricing for large quantities of food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

Five of us went to have dinner at the restaurant. Most of us ordered koobideh and they were pretty decent but we all agreed it was a bit overpriced. Inside décor looked nice but dated.

On a family visit, we had kabobs (Kubideh, barg, and chicken). I also had Gheymeh. The kubideh arrived undercooked. The waiter was very eager to make sure we were pleased, and had no problem replacing the dish with a new freshly cooked one. Nice and gracious service! The barg (tenderloin kabob) was a little dry and tasteless. The chicken could have been marinated and cooked more. The Gheymeh (a meat and split pea stew) was very good, though. Prices are reasonable with main dishes costing between $15 and $25. There is also a well chose reasonably priced drinks list. I would not go out of my way to eat here, but it served out purposes at the time.

One of the worst places that I have been in. food is good but service is nonexistence. takes too long to get the food and they bring the appetizer and main course together. For sweets, they have to run next door and it arrives in the middle of your meal.

15 of us went to this restaurant for the first time. We tried various dishes and everyone enjoyed the food. I personally had the Fesenjoon which is a stew with pomegranate juice, walnut & chicken served with basmati rice. Delicious..... Large portions so many of us got to take the leftovers home. The service was attentive and friendly. Got individual bills which was appreciated. A place that we would go back..
