Beers are fantastic and food is excellent. I used to live down the street and was here all the time. Rediscovered C'est What a couple months ago and its now my weekly go to. The best.

Fabulous service, fun environment, delicious food and drink. I’ve lost count how many times we’ve visited these past 25 years (and multiple locations). Thank you!

While many Toronto venues still have their patios open, sadly this one closed early…however that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still worth visiting this Toronto icon where you’ll find a good beer selection, pub grub, and a nice underground cabin ambiance.

Our beer garden will be open again next year from May through the end of September. If the construction ever ends we will also have some spots curbside. Thanks for making the journey down the stairs.

Fantastic underground bar and play room to eat snacks, drink beers or ciders and play games with friends or colleagues in the financial district just next to Flatiron building. Highly recommended

I visited Toronto 20 years ago, and I remember the great food I had. This trip did not disappoint. We went to C'est What for dinner on a recent trip. Extensive selection of beers. I really liked that they had small glasses so that I...could try several. I ordered fish and chips and it came with the largest and tastiest piece of fish. Daughter enjoyed mac & cheese with pulled pork. Husband tried poutine for the first time and was impressed. Nice atmosphere--a bar that I was comfortable bringing my kids to.More

I have been making the occasional trip to C'est What, for something like 30 years. I am not a big drinker, so years have gone by without visiting any bar. But, when I go to one, I go there. I like cider. For years they...had Waupoos, on draft. I've been three times this year, and they have had a cider from KW instead. Funny story. I buy a pint. On one visit they are clear out of Waupoos draft. But they have UK Strongbow cider, in cans. I order one of those. They bring that can, and their usual pint glass. However, the 500 ml can fills the glass. My buddy says that I have been served a "metric pint". Lol. I think this is the usual practice in every bar that serves you a "pint" - it is really a 500 ml metric pint. They used to have a humous and Tzadiki plate, with a plentiful supply of warm pita and crudites. That is what I always used to order, if I wanted something to eat. But they don't have that on the menu, anymore. I got a lambburger this time, and a bison burger last time. Both burgers came with an exotic cheese, instead of boring old cheddar, and were quite good.More

We are honoured to be your "only" bar. The Strongbow story must from one of your earlier visits - we have carried only local cider now for many years.

Very good location, very nice back patio and friendly staff. Too bad the pork sandwich was actually very tasteless and small for the price. This was not an unique thing in our stay in Canada though, seems that they like their sandwiches with BBQ-sauce very...mild. This was not to my taste however. Beer list was good, we must have managed to get the only bad beers in the list though as they were both pretty bad. 3.5/5 would be a realistic review.More

Tried C'est what for lunch back in January, loved the place. Very chill pub very cozy feel to it. We ordered the fish & chips and mac n cheese with butter chicken topping. The fish & chips is a huge portion and was amazing. It...came with massive potato wedges and a delicious side sauce with red cabbage slaw. My friend also enjoyed her mac & cheese. Great beer selection we tried the Mountain Lager and black Katt. Will Definitely come back.More

The lamburger was awesome and the in-house made sweet potato fries the best I've ever had. The list of local craft beers is comprehensive. I strongly recommend their own beers made in collaboration with Durham brewing.
