I live in the neighbourhood and visit Pain Perdu for their yummy croissants 3 or 4x a year. Last week's visit was sooooo disappointing. I picked up a couple of plain croissants, a pain raisin, an almond croissant and a baguette for the road. The...More

Pastries and beverages are spectacular! It's small, but always busy and for a reason! The pain raisin, almond croissants and quiches are al personal favourites, but I can also always rely on Pain Perdu for a great baguette or chocolate eclair!

Had a decent lunch with friend. Surprized that duck confit was offered. Very enjoyable. My friend had a sandwhich and was very happy. Small bakery/lunchroom. Quiche seemed to be a favorite. Lots of French desert choices. Would recommend.

Amazing chocolatines, as good as the best ones I've ever had in France. The croque Monsieur sandwich is another great standard. Staff are really great, and keep it going even when the place gets really busy.

A very small neighbourhood café with consistently excellent food; servings quite large so share a salad & share a quiche -- then you have rom for dessert!

The best croissants and raisin Danish anywhere. Also had a roast beef sandwich on the freshest and tastiest baguette which was amazing. I visit often and always great. Also excellent coffees.

Divine French artistry: spectacular hand rolled croissants, pain au chocolat, baguettes, homemade jams, etc. I could go on and on... Worth the trip, worth the money, Bravo!

Wonderful service; wonderful coffee au lait (plus café, moins lait), wonderful croissants. Service might be a little slow but wonderful can't be rushed.
