I always forget how much I like this place until along comes Winterlicious or Summerlicious. Quince is one of the rare places that doesn't cut on quality for these events. The menus for these events are amazing. And don't get me started on the staff....More

We ate at Quince bistro as part of Winterlicious, so, while the menu was a bit more limited than usual, the prices were excellent for a three-course dinner. The restaurant is very well located for both downtown and the north part of the city, and...More

Sometimes you can feel that in the rush up to the Christmas season, every restaurant is packing in the crowds and moving people though at a trot. Not so with Quince Bistro. This is a neighbourhood restaurant that ticks all the boxes - great food...More

Friends of ours were about to head south for the winter, and we used Quince for a farewell dinner. Everybody was very pleased with their meals, in my case a share of bitterballen, the soup of the day, and grilled arctic char. The service is...More

Frisee salad with pickled grapes was interesting, but although some love the pickled grapes, they didn’t appeal to me and the salad could have used a touch more dressing. Housemade linguine with mushrooms and a soft egg (perfect) was delicious. Extremely tender pasta, piping hot...More

For me, Quince is the ideal neighbourhood restaurant: friendly service, neither too casual nor too formal, you can usually get a table and the food is reliably very good with something to appeal to almost everyone. They tweak the menu often enough that there is...More

Came for the Rijstaffel event in September. Food was great, including dessert. Very similar to what you get at Little Sister. 14 different small plates. Great value actually. Somehow we waited over half an hour for our dessert though, no explanation given.

We try for Quince's other restaurant, Little Sister, but there are only bar seats so we take a chance and wander down the street to Quince. Although it's Saturday night and we have no reservation, we are seated with the caveat, the table is rebooked for...More

A pleasant evening with a nice menu selection. Three of us had the steak frites - three different cooking levels - rare, medium and medium well - all came out the same - something that is so hard for the majority of places. Nice, simple...More

Service is excellent. Food is also very good. They have a huge area in the lower level/basement that could be potentially used as a club/lounge area which was interesting. The most memorable part of the meal? The pickled grapes on my salad. W-O-W. I need...More

Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its
