Historically the food has always been WOW good. This time it was good but not WOW good so I was disappointed. We had the halibut mains and the fish was a touch overdone to me plus it did not have a lot of flavour. My...More

Highly recommended. We had dinner before a show as very close to Ed Mirvish theatre. Service was perfect and the food was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. We had halibut and venison. Can't wait to go back.

Four of us had the tasting menu. It was FANTASTIC. One of us is a vegetarian, two of us eat fish, and one of us eats everything. We were catered to individually, and as a table. When we shared we were not big dessert eaters,...More

I had high expectations but was disappointed. The food was good but not amazing and not worth the cost. The wine by the glass is insanely pricey.

We attended this establishment with a group of about 60 Business Colleagues. The atmosphere was perfect for socializing with a group of this size. The food was outstanding and the service was the same. Make the effort to go here if you are in Toronto.

Birthday luncheon was nice , however for the first time I must say, not a wow. Disappointing first course with the Belgium endive , when you have a tasting menu you don't expect a vegetarian start. Not exciting at all and so inexpensive to produce....More

I did not know anything about George Restaurant until last night when I arrived in Toronto for business at 9pm and was feverishly looking for a place still open for dinner. I stumbled upon George and the whole experience was great. The interior is very...More

I think those that are not rating this as a 5 are either having ulterior motives or perhaps the wrong patrons for this kind of experience. And I stress the word experience, because George is not just a restaurant to go get a meal. It...More

I guess if you are going that it is their suggestion. The menu has meat and potato but it won't be in the form you get at The Keg - still it's meat and potato. If everyone else wants the tasting menu then just be polite... More
