It's a decent pub in Queen West and reminds me a bit of London. Old English style pub. Location is amazing. This place has a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Quite good food, unpretentious and affordable. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. They pride themselves on their...live music that ranges Jazz , Blues , Zydeco... Nice place to enjoy beer.More

Just created this account to honestly say that food is awful. Don’t get food in this place, the cheeseburger is horrible and the onion rings aren’t fresh made. This is cheap food at premium price.

I visit Toronto 6-8 times a year and often I end up in this pub for the fish and chips, the beer and the great service. Also the atmosphere is nice, it is a real pub. In the summer they have outside seating. In the...winter on Sunday they close at 18:30, you should take this into accountMore

....opened in 1833, there were times it wasn't a tavern and it was known as the Clifton House for a number of years. The history of the building and the city as it grew around it is very interesting. Great food and cold beer, have...been here several times for lunches and afternoon drinks. Friendly service, vibrant atmosphere and neighbourhood, next time hopefully it will be summer and we can enjoy the outside patio.More

We came upon the Black Bull as we were walking around Toronto. Want a light lunch and this was a great place. We shared the Spinach and Goats cheese flatbread...very yummy. Their soup of the day was Beef Vegetable and OMG what a great soup....It hit the spot. The day was cold and a hot bowl of soup was needed. Our server was great. Very pleasant and quick. I bet the patio in the summer would be a great place to kick back, have a pint and people watch. We will definitely go back.More

Friendly pub with very good BLT and fries. We both had BLT and I had the sweet potato fries which were tasty and not pre-salted... which is good. Beer was cold and service very attentive. Would return.

I met some friends at the Black Bull outdoor patio for drinks and a bite to eat. The service was friendly, the beer cold and the food was good. What more could you ask for?

Cosy traditional pub with Great staff, fine beer and decent pub food. I had the fish and chips which were awesome and my wife had the Caesar salad which tasted very good too. Located in a lively part of Toronto

Fun patio for people watching. Broad beer and liquor menu. Food is decent enough. Prices decent, too. Service is super pleasant. Great location.

went in after work because I needed something to eat and couldn't wait the 40 minute trek home, had "seat yourself" sign up, sat down and no one came to even say hi for a full almost 7 minutes, finally got a waitress and she...acted like she'd really rather be doing anything else at that moment, food was on average bar food, big patio from the looks of things on the outside. I heard such good things, a little disappointed.More
