We tried this restaurant based on an on-line review that my son found when we couldn't get reservations for either of the two restaurants we initially tried based on previous good experiences. Fortunately, none of us are afraid to try new places, and we were not disappointed. I had the tiger shrimp and chicken risotto - delicious! The pastas that... More

We were honestly heading to a different restaurant when we stopped to look at the menu at the door. We were intrigued and decided to give it a try. So glad we did!! We decided to enjoy the back patio and as we wandered by the open kitchen I was amazed to see a plain Jane electric stove in a... More

Lovely small room with a pocket-sized kitchen. Lots of wood, eclectic music collection as background, and attentive staff. Our party of six was there to celebrate my mom's 76th birthday. Food was excellent, (the risotto was subtle, but delicious) and the service was top-notch and friendly. After being there for a bit, we felt like family. Mom had a blast,... More

We had a wonderful meal on the back patio. No problem accommodating meals for picky kids. There's a reason this place has been here 10+ years. It's consistently good We'll be back

I was here this evening for dinner and drinks with friends. We sat on the patio in the rear of the restaurant which is cozy and quiet We shared an appetizer platter that was a nice antipasto with meats, some cheese, and grilled veg. It was quite good and a generous portion for the price. The brisket is cooked in... More

The service, ambience was great. The food was delicious but perhaps could have been a bit more generous. We had the appetizer platter for four of us for $18.00 and it was great and plentiful and great value. The atlantic cod was very good. I would go there again when in town!!!

I have been commuting to Toronto for business every week for 26 months and I eat out 4 nights a week. My meal at Leslie Jones was hands down the best meal I've had in those 2 years. The restaurant is intimate and cozy. Also comforting is being able to watch the chef (owner) in action. From the app to... More

One of my favourite restaurants. Nice and relaxed, delicious food (and desserts). Can't wait for patio season.

I've been here a couple times and each time it just gets better. There is a wonderfully warm and friendly vibe to this charming restaurant that you feel as soon as you walk through the door. The food is incredibly yummy and creative and I'm most impressed with the Eggplant and Gnocchi that was on special the last time we... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
