We are regulars here and came here after having a terrible experience at La Societe. The escargot and steak frites here were perfect as always. Great service as usual.

Brunch on the patio was delicious! I had the best crepe! Crepe au Poulet with mushrooms, spinach and Briie! Excellent service on a charming patio.

But if you are after real French food, this is not it. It is a standard menu with steak and frites( covered in Parmesan cheese) etc. for an upscale price. It is raucous and not a place for a dinner a deux.

Attended a team dinner at this restaurant. Wait staff were excellent and very helpful with suggestions. Food was very well prepared, generous portions and tasted great ! ... would definitely return.

I dined at Coquine tonight with my wife and another couple. While the food was very good, the portion was so small that it was obscene. To make matters worse, I ordered a bowl of berries off menu which was almost twice the price of any other desert on the menu. At this point in my life, I am happy... More

We walked to this lovely French restaurant from our mid-town home with our neighbours for a lovely night out. The food was well prepared. Garlicky sauce for the bread and butter was provided on request for one of the diners. The lamb, chicken and seafood dishes were all prepared with care and visually appealing. THe seafood was fresh, plump and... More

One of our to go spots in the Yonge and Eglinton area. Food is always top notch, as is the service. Just fantastic fresh food, and a great beverage selection.

French-Themed would be a more appropriate description. The food is okay but it's American quality, not French at all, whatsoever. Anyone who's been to a real French bistro would be really disappointed. It's more like a nice Keley's. Any place that offers chicken as an add-on to their pasta falls into that category. My review might be higher if their... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
