I went for a quick breakfast and was bullied into maneuvering my wheelchair through the back entrance where I was stuck listening to the cook yelling at the other staff . There was a table at the front but my tiny SERVICE DOG was a potential bother to other patrons.

We checked tripadvisor for local breakfast joints and this one was top of the list, what a pleasure. A local fav for sure, the staff knew all of the locals but also treated us like someone they wanted to get to know and I bet if we came back they would try to guess our order. The menu is fun... The Classic Breakfast was good. Eggs, good bacon and yummy potatoes. Toast was barely toasted basically just warm bread. If want it toasted you will have to ask. Coffee was okay, not great. Ask to be seated in a booth near the front, otherwise they will stick you near the back of the restaurant is quite dreary. Service was good.

We were having brunch prior to a film screening, so timing was important. There was a line to get a table so we did have to wait a while since the restaurant was very busy. But it was worth the wait. The food was excellent and service was right on. Would go,there again.

Went here early on a Saturday. It wasn't busy. Even though there seemed to be plenty of staff, the service was dreadful. The 'toast' was merely warm bread. The food was cold. And we waited for it FOREVER. Only positive is the pot of coffee that comes to the table.

So happy to have found this review on TripAdvisor. The hotel breakfast was overpriced and no good. We loved every bite at Over Easy, I had banana pancakes and my husband had western omelette. Relaxed and friendly, not rushed at all even with a line out front. This is a definite spot to try

Food - 3 stars Service - 3 stars Decor - 2 stars Not the best place for breakfast in Toronto nor the worst. By far the weakest element of this place is the Nineties decor. They definitely need a renovation to freshen things up and this is long overdue. As for service, our waitress was sweet but not particularly good.... More

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday around noon. Crazy busy!! Good for them but the crowded doorway meant the freezing cold air was getting into the place which was disheartening. Staff were doing their best to keep on top of it but with the crowd, it was difficult. The food was wonderful as always. My ordinary tea was great but... More

Have never been to this location and my girlfriend suggested we do brunch for a catch up on a Saturday!! My immediate reaction was, you've got to be kidding, figuring that we would have to wait a long time (no reservations on the weekend), not get great service because of that and have to shout over others to "catch up."... Over Easy has a wide range of choices for all appetites. Service is typically excellent; you can usually be in and out within 30 minutes.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
