Had a very unusual experience at the Perfect restaurant few days ago , it is been over 8 hours long meeting , our host surprised every one , he took six of us for later dinner ( 11pm ) , this restaurant in business since...the late 80's , open 24 hours not much decor very spacious , lot of private room but need a good make over , and their concept is Cheap to eat and Large portion , extensive menu plus Dim Sum available any time lot to choose from , I do not believe the lobster so cheap and they do have the Lobster special on the menu for $148 , I also order the dry beef noodle and chicken fried rice and I was so shocked the lobster is less 3 pound , quality is not fresh for sure , but give my compliments to the chef with his creative ingredient and seasoning make it incomparably delicious , large portion over all , the food not too shabby at all , little too much MSG , no problem with the service , very friendly , it is so truth you pay what you get ! different stroke for different folk , less your stomach will thank you , nothing to complain, great value and surprised to see a lot Western patron enjoying their Dim Sum , so if you craving for Chinese food middle of the night , Perfect place for you !More

Full house on weekends. The Peking duck combo set is very reasonable but must be paid in cash only. It includes lobster, tilipia, chicken, soup, veg amd dessert for only C$140. Reknowned for it's poor service due to extreme lack of manpower. Can see all...the regular diners there helping themselves to the cutlery, takeout boxes, condiments, etc as it is impossibke to get the attention of the few staff there.More

I placed an order over the phone asking for an order of Fried rice and shrimp. Once I got there I paid almost 30$ thinking its for the 2 items. Once my food was given to me I noticed only 1 container in the bag......I asked for my rice and he said I never ordered it. I was shocked as I was wondering what I just spent 30$ on. Turned out it was for the order of pepper shrimp. Clearly there was a miscommunication, I ask for my money back they refused. A restaurant that is open 24/7 can't cut a lil loss aka over salty shrimp sitting in a pool of oil 🤮. As an out of towner I will never come back to your extortion restaurant and your customer service is trash✌🏾More

Nothing perfect about this place. It is cheesy, fake and zero talent. Some rave about their food here, while others think it's mediocre. I'm in the latter half. The food was either over-cooked or under cooked. Chinese stir fry rely on timing and speed in...the correct order where last minute vegetables thrown in should've been tossed a bit longer so they wouldn't have a raw bite to them as was the case with the broccoli and yellow onions. Half way through lunch it was making me sick and I had to use their facilities quickly otherwise I'd be spewing at the table. To my dismay, the washroom was closed. Both men and women's washroom was closed due to a plumbing issue. Instead of mopping up the mess during a busy lunch hour they kept dropping table clothes all over the floor to attempt to soak up the mess which by the minute was looking worse and worse. This restaurant is located in a strip mall where the interior corridors of the strip mall are not really a public space as it has no public washrooms. It's only function is to provide indoor backdoor delivery access to the various businesses housed there.More

After coming here for over 30 years I think I'm done with it. The cashier who's been there for many years was rude, unprofessional, not friendly and definitely not very helpful. They have a very good hot sauce, which is one of many reasons I...go....but she gave me 3 little packs of some hot sauce. The squid was so dried out I couldn't even chew it. My other dishes were better but definitely not up to par. I now understand why there's no lineup or crowd anymore.More

It’s not my first visit to this resto and again, they fail in customer service and friendliness. On both occasions, I went to this restaurant during off peak hours for dim sum. I am always left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time to get...tea, or to have my dim sum order form picked up. The food is okay and usually arrives in a timely manner but if I need a server for any reason, hot sauce, takeout containers, more hot water, they never seem to look my way or think about checking on my table. I have to get up and flag somebody down. After finally getting my bill, I paid at the counter and left a tip that reflected the very poor service (I can only guess might be related to the fact that I’m not Chinese). She had the audacity to actually question me about the amount of my tip (and lack thereof). The last time I checked, a gratuity or it’s percentage is not mandatory but is based on the service provided. Maybe you should be questioning your servers about their performance!! Add to this the fact that the restaurant decor is filthy. The carpets have not seen a cleaner nor have they been changed in far too many years. They’re literally black (and I believe once upon a time they might have been red). So, imagine the kitchen where the food is being prepped!More

Place to go whenever you crave for Chinese food, especially Dimsum. Be wary though - servers aren't friendly. I could understand that they were under-staffed, but that doesn't give them the right to be rude to customers. We understood that, and we politely requested for...some stuff like soy sauce, extra cutlery and all - but they were so rude: banging on plates, telling us to make our requests - ONE TIME and WAIT as they were understaff, shoving my nephew's mobile phone and worse - DEMANDING FOR A TIP, when they don't deserve one. Will never come back.More

Now, like most other Chinese restaurants, the environment isn’t the greatest, but the dim sum is cheaper than any other place in Toronto, and is still great quality for the price. $30-35 is enough for two, and $50-55 for three. And I’m talking stuffed with...extra to take home. I can’t speak for the other meals outside of lunchtime dim sum hours, since I only ever go there for that. And I have been going there regularly for almost a decade now.More

We ordered a whole Peking duck and all we got were a few pieces of skin and a bowl of lettuce. 47 dollars for what? When we called the server over, the server tried to convince us that the head of lettuce was the rest...of the duck. We even saw a few rats running around. Will never see the doors of Perfect again.More

As mentioned in other reviews, never order takeout with them. While ordering it said food would be ready at 5:30pm. Reached at 5:40 - food not ready. Waited until 6:10 and still not ready. Waiters avoid eye contact with you and when you ask, rudely...tell you order is not ready. Even the owner needs lessons in customer service and politeness!!More

Hm. I've never actually had this dish; so I would not be helpful. You might try your luck if you go into the kitchen. Best time to visit the kitchen is usually after lunch rush.
