This Montanas just got put on our never again list. I was disappointed with the taste of the food, so much that I didn’t finnsh it, if we had a decent waitress instead of being all creepy and hovering around our table and being in...such a hurry to clear our plates, Lady! you need to draw a line between good service and take their plates away as soon as they put their fork down. Anyway had she had any human characteristics to her at all she would have asked if something was wrong with the meal seeing as she was taking back almost a full plate to the kitchen. Then the bill comes at full price. It hurts me to leave a review like this but it hurts to have to pay full price for terrible food and service. The positive feel good feeling of going out for a family dinner was completely ruined.More

Following a movie, we went to Montana's for dinner. The server was polite. The food was mediocre. Unfortunately, one of the entrees was forgotten until we asked where it was.

From out of town and working the Honda Indy. After a long day we just needed a familiar place with good food. Nice place and typical food. The current 3 1/2 star rating is fitting. But now let’s insert our server. Restaurant ratings start with...the server. You can have the best food and a so so server which drops the rating. Tonight flip it. Didn’t even get acknowledged at the door. No service what so ever. Waited over 5 minutes and walked out!

Went there last night with my husband. Our host was an unsmiling and very curt man and our server was exactly the same. Very brusque woman named Adrianna, who did not give us cutlery (we had to ask another server), never refilled our water, checked...up on us or cleared the table beside us for the entire 45 minutes we were there. Also when I was was inquiring how the half price appetizers worked, there was a lot of unpleasantness and attitude in how she responded. At the end, it took so long to get our bill from the half empty restaurant, that we did not have time to wait for a manager as we were already late for our movie. I would never come back to this location or recommend it for anybody. Absolutely unacceptable.More

My husband and I decided to try this place out on the long weekend. We did not have a reservation, and the wait was about 20 minutes; so not too bad. The food was good and the service was great. Will be coming back with...our kids forsure.More

Wanted to go out for some ribs without paying specialty smokehouse costs at $50 a rack. Been a while so we decided on Montana's. Went for the all you can eat rib feast. Ribs were good and sauce very good. The first rack wasn't that...hot but reorders were, I had a feast, 3.5 racks in I got the look...the 'you need to stop look'! I only ate some of the sides so as to not fill up on them. Our server was good and attentive given the rate we consumed the ribs. Would I go again, yes. Maybe not the best ribs in town but they are in line with all the others except specialty shops.More

Went there with 2 grandchildren on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly and dealt with in a friendly manner. The place was getting busy but the main dining crowd had not yet arrived. Our grandchildren like the place although I do not know why....There are plenty of TV screens to distract them I guess. Partner really couldn't find anything on the menu that suited her palate...many things were "spicy sounding " even if they were not....so she ordered a bowl of pot roast soup which...she did not finish and in which she could find very little evidence of meat. I ordered the Southwestern skillet and enjoyed it thoroughly. The kids had Kids Pasta which consisted of a small bowl of pasta elbows with a wedge of garlic bread. Neither touched the bread and enjoyed only a small amount of the pasta. Their mother's french fries were more appealing. The price for the kids meal was $7....high for what they got. The fact they ate little of it is irrelevant. Service was very good but in all I would rate this as 3.5 stars.More

We went there with another couple this past Sunday decided to both order a full rack of ribs because we heard how great they were unfortunately when the ribs arrived they were overcooked and very dry when we told the waiter that ribs were dry...he just Shrugged his shoulders and walked away with that being said we will not be returning to Montana's restaurantMore

I'm surprised about the bad reviews. I've been to Montana's a few times, always enjoyed the ribs, service was fast and friendly, no complaints at all. Also, I think it's good value compared to other local restaurants.

Typical "rib" joint, but the service is still slow, and the portions are small for what you pay. Plate sizes are smaller so it looks large on presentation. Aside from that, the food was OK, but the fries were cold.

We visited this location on Canada day. We ordered the Steak Burrito bowl. The rice was not flavourful and was under cooked. The steak was dry and rubber like and a total disaster. There seems to be no quality control standards at Montana's to let...this type of below par meal be served to customers. I'm totally disappointed with the lack of quality food leaving the kitchen. The chef should be fired forthwith.More
