We loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. They take cash only but there is a cash machine within the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We’ve been here twice to eat in. The place definitely needs a redo. The dumplings are the best. Try the pork and chive. The noodles so good, although they use a little too much oil. We buy the frozen dumplings too. 15 dumplings $10. Great...for a quick home side dish. We will keep coming back for the food and good service. Cash only.More
Either steamed or fried, this place is the genuine article! Great value, and always take home a few frozen bags for later.
I love this restaurant. The dumplings are wonderful, the staff are nice. I am so happy to make our way to the Dumpling House whenever we are in Toronto or we just drive to Toronto for the dumplings.
Speaking from an Asian perspective, I can confidently say that this place has the worst dumplings ever. They didn’t even use the right dumpling wrap (the wrap that becomes clear after steamed) but they used the wrap similar to a bao so it was too...thick! The filling had no taste and too wet so it kept falling apart. The House Special Noodle was fine, a little too oily but the shrimps were bland so you should go with the Beef Noodle. But the dumplings were too disappointing. I recommend going to Swatow Restaurant, they have the best shrimp wonton ever.More
The pan fried dumpling are excellent. The steamed one are very good too. The General Tao chicken was not the best we had but still tasty. Made fresh behind the street window. Good hole in the wall type of place. Service was quick but there...was no one else in the restaurant. Air conditionning would be nice though!More
We ended up here after our terrible experience at Rol San. THANK GOD. This restaurant is amazing. Our only problem was there was too many mouth watering dishes being churned out from the kitchen, we didn't know what to choose. The General Tao chicken plate...looked incredible but we ended up with some great dumpling dishes. If you love dumplings and have been working up an appetite then get down here!More
Friendly service in a somewhat cramped dining room. Four of us shared Singapore Noodles (very good!) and assorted steamed and fried dumplings, as well as a Crystal Noodle salad. All were pretty tasty. It was entertaining to watch the chef at work on a very...low gas stove. It was a bit expensive for what we got, I thought: $60 with tip for a fairly light lunch (no leftovers).More
Large variety of Dumplings, the steamed shrimp and scallions was great. Be warned they don't take cards, only cash!
Went there expecting far better. It wasn’t bad, just average. They are very busy though, but they accommodated our party of seven, not including two infants. Portions are sized good, and prices are reasonable. In the beginning, seemed as if the service was poor, but...we felt it was a language barrier and they were much more friendly afterwards.More
Not what I expected for Chinese dumplings. Dough is far too thick, fillings are average and owner is friendly but very obnoxious. They are like boiled pierogies. We went on a Saturday night, so lineup was extensive. We met 3 Chinese nationals who also were...told this place was good. By the end of the meal, they didn’t care for it either.More
we had huge dumplings stuffed with vegetables and shrimps (steamed) as well as spinach and mushrooms ones (fried) crazy good!
You can actually watch the dumplings being made through the front window. They only accept cash. Air conditioning was lacking. I went on a Saturday at 11:30 am and it was busy but I didn’t have a problem getting a table. I ordered the #15...which is 15 steamed dumplings of 3 different types of your choosing. I chose pork & chive, lamb, and shrimp & vegetables. A glass of water was provided. The dumplings were good and filling. Total cost was $14.70 before tip.More
As a friend recommend, I went there for lunch with another friend. The dumpling is ok, but worst service, bed management. cash only. No enjoyment. go some where else for safe.
These tasty pork & chive dumplings can be purchased steamed or pan fried. Beware, they're made to order, so allow 10 minutes before you can dig into this deliciousness! Priced around $11 for 15 of them.
