After looking for a good spot to eat we choose this one for the good reviews...Our surprise when we were served the food. From the start we had an unpleasent feeling, the Staff was very rude when we came in. Didnt really feel welcome, more...of a "if You have to than "please" come in". The Staff that came to fill our cups with water ignored me when I said that Im ok and dont want it and did it so non chalantly that when she was retriving the jug she spiled water over my friends plate of food and on him and just went around her day. XD No sorry, no nothing. I still had my hopes up cause the food smelled amazing. Yet, the worst part was the food, we took 3 plates so we can try different stuff. Chicken dumplings, lamb dumplings and chicken with veggies and to that we took a bowl of rice. The meat didnt had any taste if it wasnt for the soy sauce the chicken dumpling wouldnt be eatable. You just tester the soy sauce not the food itself. The chicken with veggies was the same, You couldnt taste the meat, the veggies were good. The Bowl was really little and You had to additionally pay for it. For the other place that I went the Bowl was really small. The worst for last, the lamb dumplings. I took one bite and had to spot it out. I dont remember the last time I really would throw up because of the taste of the food. And Im a foody, I like different foods. And its different if You dont like the taste of something but this was too much. Its was just disgusting. .It was a really sad experience. I guess if Youre a vegeterian You could like the place...? But do not take meat in this place!More

I came here to eat today with my friends and was unpleasantly surprised. Firstly, we were told that only cash payment was accepted. Then we placed our order and were served portions that were smaller than those in similar establishments. Furthermore, when we tried them,...they were also of low quality. If it weren't for the soy sauce, it would have been difficult to eat at all. It was an unpleasant experience, and I will not be coming back here to eat. I do not recommend this place.More

I was promptly seated on a very busy hour. The place was packed. As one walks in, the dumplings are being done by the door. The Steamed dumplings comes as 15. The Fried as 12. I ordered the Fried Pork & Shrimp dumplings, and the...10 ingredients Fried Rice. The Fried Rice came first. It had too much sauce for my taste(brown color) it was good. Then a bit later came the dumplings. I was looking at how they are cooked. It was very pretty, and delicious. A big pot of hot tea to wash everything down. Satisfying lunch. They only accept cash. ATM on premises.More

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Most little restaurants in the area do cash only. I went to grab some take out. Ordered the fried pancake and steamed lamb dumplings. The wait for the order took less than the initial 15 minutes...the person on cash told me. The lamb dumplings are well seasoned. The dough is nice and thick. I think they also salted the casing. Size wise, they are pretty big dumplings when compared to the dumplings you can buy in your grocery store. They are super tasty and moist. Perfect in my books. The chive pancake is pretty big and smells divine. It is nicely golden and still has it's crunch. Taste wise, a little doughy and dry so you will need to have a drink nearby. Only reason why I am not giving a perfect score is that the pancake was underwhelming.More

The dumplings are very, very tasty. We enjoyed the pan-fried dumplings, especailly the pork and chive. The shrimp fried rice was filling and delicious. The decor is very basic. A great place for a casual, fun lunch.

This is a mean restaurant. I was with my 6-year-old son, eager to find a dumpling place with a washroom (restroom). They saw I am from out of town and said they're cash only. When I said I only swipe my card and my son...wants to go pee. One of the staff said I could use their washroom and we were on our way there, only to be stopped and yelled by the boss of the restaurant -- you must place an order now... The rest is silence. Don't go there! No wonder reviews are negative.More

We’ve been here twice to eat in. The place definitely needs a redo. The dumplings are the best. Try the pork and chive. The noodles so good, although they use a little too much oil. We buy the frozen dumplings too. 15 dumplings $10. Great...for a quick home side dish. We will keep coming back for the food and good service. Cash only.More

Speaking from an Asian perspective, I can confidently say that this place has the worst dumplings ever. They didn’t even use the right dumpling wrap (the wrap that becomes clear after steamed) but they used the wrap similar to a bao so it was too...thick! The filling had no taste and too wet so it kept falling apart. The House Special Noodle was fine, a little too oily but the shrimps were bland so you should go with the Beef Noodle. But the dumplings were too disappointing. I recommend going to Swatow Restaurant, they have the best shrimp wonton ever.More

The pan fried dumpling are excellent. The steamed one are very good too. The General Tao chicken was not the best we had but still tasty. Made fresh behind the street window. Good hole in the wall type of place. Service was quick but there...was no one else in the restaurant. Air conditionning would be nice though!More

We ended up here after our terrible experience at Rol San. THANK GOD. This restaurant is amazing. Our only problem was there was too many mouth watering dishes being churned out from the kitchen, we didn't know what to choose. The General Tao chicken plate...looked incredible but we ended up with some great dumpling dishes. If you love dumplings and have been working up an appetite then get down here!More

Friendly service in a somewhat cramped dining room. Four of us shared Singapore Noodles (very good!) and assorted steamed and fried dumplings, as well as a Crystal Noodle salad. All were pretty tasty. It was entertaining to watch the chef at work on a very...low gas stove. It was a bit expensive for what we got, I thought: $60 with tip for a fairly light lunch (no leftovers).More
