Globe Bistro has been a staple on the Danforth for several years, and there's no surprise why. While restaurants come and go, this one is here for the long run because of the excellent - and very reasonably priced - food and friendly service. Much...More

Well if you like Steak Frites for toddlers then you’ll be satisfied - otherwise you’ll be very hungry afterward. The service was excellent but after $128 spent on dinner and drinks, my wife and I made a sandwich when we got home.

My husband purchased the Chef's Tasting menu dinner for two through Groupon. We enjoy having meals we could not easily, if ever replicate at home. The Chef's Tasting offers samples such that while it's a six course dinner, we were sated rather than stuffed. The...More

Something different on the Danforth and the Globe Bistro delivers. Enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu with close friends of ours. Each course was a suprise especially the chilled soup and beef tenderloin. Extensive wine selection, we had a bottle of white and red with...More

Food should be taste and visual combined. The poor lighting made it near impossible to appreciate the visual. When serving white soup use a contrasting colour for the bowl or turn up the lights. We have been twice before and raved about the food, so...More

We always return for Chef Dan's locally inspired 6 course tasting menu. This time: lobster croquette, chilled corn soup with peaches and chives, beef tenderloin, grilled eggplant, perch, brie, sorbet, milk chocolate mousse with hazelnut daquoise and - a great discovery - seabuck. Service was...More

First visit to this bistro; prix fixe Summerlicious menu. Limited choice, but very good and diverse food selections; great service; cosy facilities; central to Danforth shopping near Broadview. Street parking. Will return.

Reservations reccomended, but not required it seems. My wife and i recently had dinner at globe bistro: we chose it because they were advertised on our ticket for the venue across the street, with an excellent offer of a $25 2 course prix fixe menu....More

My family and I love this restaurant, but hate when we’re forced to sit in the back room (where there’s the most seating). It’s totally outdated and way too dark. My parents both have to turn on their phone flashlights, it’s such a shame. Turn...More
