Great daily selection of fine soup, chowders, chili etc. Grab a bowl along with choice of 3 sides like bread, buns, fruit or veggie sticks and chow down.

Any of the soups here make for a great choice, though it should be noted that this place caters mostly to the lunch crowd, and is very busy between 12 and 1. In terms of Toronto having a great underground path system plus an abundance of international foods, both can be found at the same restaurant. There are three of... More

I have a three day a week addiction to the Soup Nutsy. It is the most delicious soup available in the downtown core. I am especially partial to the seafood gumbo, smoked turkey and wild rice, lobster bisque, fiery Thai chicken and the chili all of which are excellent. Enjoy!

Wide variety of soups. I have never tried a bad one! Clam chowder is great, and the fresh breads are excellent.

My daughter treated me to a meal deal at Soup Nutsy and I was faced with an totally different choice of soups.Coming from UK and the normal type of soup would be Tomato Mushroom etc. But herein Toronto what about Asparogus and blue cheese !!!!!! The bread slices were gigantic and very filling.

Great selection of fresh soups. Can have a long line-up at lunch hour, but it moves fast. They have great discounts after 2 pm. Gazpacho, shitake mushroom and creole shrimp are my favs.

Great selection at very reasonable prices. Never mind long lines, they take literally minutes. Absolute top choice for any weekday lunch.

I've been going to Soup Nutsy for years. There's no better TAKE-OUT soup in the underground Path. It's not cheap but it is definitely worth it!

The menu is very varied and the soup is good. The size of the portions is generous. I hate the name of the place but the food is good.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
