Magnificent view. Food was expensive for a stand in line restaurant. Like typical southern BBQ joints, you stand in line to order you get a number and then it is delivered to your table. You also stand in line to order drinks.
$46.00 for a rack of ribs with no sides seems very high.

Stopped in here after arriving on the island. The patio has an excellent view of the city skyline and the boat traffic on the water. We ordered some beer and margaritas and then tried a few of the tacos for lunch. They were all very good. Quite a few wasps, but they are bad everywhere at this time of year.

Food was super fast and tasty. Beer cold. Lots of seating on the patio. Prices higher because of the location but family friendly and with it after a long day on the island

A wonderful atmosphere of the Lake Ontario waves and beautiful Toronto skyline in the distance make this spot a can't miss on your summer list!
The Food was fantastic our fish tacos, fries, and wings were all served super quick and tasted phenomenal. (the chipotle mayo on the tacos is to die for!)
We stuck mostly to beer however the cocktails we did try, were great and well priced. (a special thanks to the bartender for his recommendations)
The staff were so friendly, and the manager Grainnne was happy to help with anything we needed!
All in all great experience will be returning here as much as possible this summer!

I came here on Canada day with my family and loved my visit. The restaurant is located right off the dock when you get off the centre island ferry. The menu has a good mix of food and had some great vegan options for my husband who had the vegan sausage tacos and loved them. The bar offers a wide selection of beers and spirits and a couple of cocktails which I enjoyed in the evening. The staff where quick and efficient while being friendly and chatty. The view in the evening blew me away and was a good opportunity to get some family pictures with the cities skyline in the background. I can't wait to visit again before the kids go back to school.

Well I would’ve rated it better had they actually been open . Sign as you get off the ferry says we’re open walked over there and the guy working said we’re closed at 7:30 on a Saturday night . We weren’t the only ones lots of people turned away

After looking around at Centre Island, we decided to quench the thirst here. Unfortunately, the bar had to declare white wine and champagne sold out. As for beer from the plate, there was only Heineken left. The man at the bar tried hard to get other employees to check what was in stock, but none of them showed any particular interest in helping.
It should be mentioned that our company was virtually the only guests in the restaurant at this time.
We had our drinks outdoors overlooking Toronto’s impressive skyline. Location is really in the top.

went for lunch with my family and it was amazing. staff is so friendly and very helpful. food was excellent, especially the fish tacos and the island wings. nice options on the menu. lovely umbrellas on the patio so, nicely shaded. Some spots sunny if you want a nice tan ;)
exquisite views of toronto from everywhere on the patio!! the signature beer is Ferry-boat blonde lager and it was delicious. paired very nicely with my food. my dad had the Lighthouse IPA and he loved it. for dessert I recommend the peach + pecan bread pudding was phenomenal!
the pride flags were a nice touch!!
will definitely be back very soon!

Visited Toronto Island Bbq & Beer a few days ago. The view of the city from the patio is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed some cold beers and tasty appetizers. The jerk chicken wings are fabulous and the staff is lovely. We will return!

The view is beautiful, the food mediocre, the cleanliness was non-existent. We were the first to access the patio (they just opened) and there was food and trash and dirty tables everywhere. Hard to focus on the view when the place was so, so dirty.

This place does not want your business so do them a favor and don't go! Bartenders were both super rude and annoyed to be doing their job. I ordered 3 beers and a water. I was told to get the water myself from the cooler. I told him it was empty and her told me to try the other one. I told him it was also empty and his reply was, "well I can't help you then" and he walked away. I asked the other bartender for a lime for my Sol and she said, "you will have to have him (the first bartender who walked away) help you with that". She then went back to playing on her phone. What!? Restaurant needs to fire both of those people immediately.

Visited on a Friday afternoon with a group of 6 - plenty of room and were able to find seating right away with a nice view.
Ordered some beers and a couple poutine dishes (classic and Bollywood), and both were so good!
The seagulls were a little annoying, but overall, the experience and atmosphere were nice.

Hugely expensive mediocre place and the terrace is filled with seagulls. But the view is worth it in the end. Very nice place to enjoy those expensive Molsons.
