Wings are cooked when you order! They are always hot, tender and meaty. None of those crappy reheated excuse for wings so many serve these days. And, the staff are great. having been to this restaurant a couple of times and not being very happy poor service terrible waitresses I decided to give it 1 more try.Like they say 3rd time is a charm..the waitress named Cheyenne was beyond great excellent knowledge of menu great hints...as what to try and very aware of her customers. I will be back many more times hoping for the same quality of service.if only they could clone cheyenneMore

I decided to try this place for the first time Even though I always go to the original on 1000 islington because we were closer and thought it's always good ? Wrong....... We ordered ribs and wings and in the middle of eating I found...a long black hair in food I thought eww! So I called the waitress discreetly as I did not want to be a bad customer singing this to rest of patrons. She said sorry and went inside I did not ask for the order to be replaced but in any restaurant they do it anyways. I thought the ribs were eaten but wings where not so I assumed she would change the wings. Instead waitress comes out saying " you ate the ribs so I have to charge them" I was thinking are you serious as I didn't ask not to pay until after she said it that way and asked for manager. The owner of the restaurant "Dave" came out and asked for me to recant how I found hair 😳 once I explained his response was " I find it hard to believe that you are the ribs and then you found a hair?, did you take out hair and eat the ribs ? He advised nobody at restaurant had black hair lol I was gonna tell him to look on the mirror cause his hair is not green! I was offended and thought this guy thinks I'm lying?..... Obviously if I was eating and found it halfway what's the difference, and not once did I ever asked for them to give other ribs which is what caused me getting upset. I asked for them to charge me and don't bother with wings my meal was ruined and what was more disappointing was become of the owner who was chit chatting with waitress at the cash laughing like Mocking me ! After I asked for his name so I can complain to mike the original owner of the Wingporium restaurant name etc. He gave a business card stating I'm the owner ! They didn't charge for that plate but in the end big fat ZERO in costumer service !!! And ribs where ok not falling of the bone like the etobicoke location yum!!!!! Please don't bother going here go to islington one the original and only! who really represents the Wingporium name this location is not gonna be there for long if this is the way they treat loyal customers like myself who has gone for the past 8 years or more to islington location. I am proud to write this review for Wingporium! I have had the pleasure of making a few trips to this location in the last few months. The quality of wings is superior to the other top locations I used to frequent. They sell beef...back ribs which is rare for most restaurants. If there are any fans of beef back ribs, you will be in for a treat. Their wedges are well seasoned and served in a healthy portion. More importantly, the service is really good from Kayley and Addy! I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners on a recent trip. Often times I visit the smaller businesses and management and ownership lack the ability to engage with their guests. It was refreshing when Cheech introduced himself and asked questions about his guests. This gives you a welcome feel which is ignored by many restaurants. I hope the owners continue this trend and really engage with their guests since it is the guests that will make or break their business long term. Well done and keep up the great service!More
