Our go-to Indian food spot in Toronto for +15 years! Amazing food, excellent in-house delivery service, reasonable prices. PS years ago it was called Amaya Express originally but rebranded about five years ago to Indian Street Food Co. Exactly the same amazing food/recipes.

Indian Street Food is another one of the restaurants in our neighbourhood that is trying to carry on during the current crisis. We had the dinner for four -- three meat and two veg -- with a couple of extra side dishes, and we were...very pleased. The quantities are ample and the quality is very good to excellent: 4 1/2 stars. The place deserves your support!More

Indian Street Food is one of, if not my favorite Indian food restaurant in Toronto. The atmosphere is great and intimate, the waiters are very attentive and are able to help you navigate the menu based on preferences and dietary restrictions. Their food takes a...twist on the classic dishes and mixed in contemporary flares. Really recommend their garlic naan bread - its incredible.More

There are any number of restaurants in Toronto where you can get a passable Indian meal, but nothing special. This restaurant is definitely special, much much better than average. Service is friendly and helpful. We were there at lunch-time, and each had a different thali....The food was fresh and flavorful and "authentic", and being a thali had a nice variety/sampling of half a dozen dishes. The naan and papadum were excellent as well. I would definitely go back.More

We've passed by Indian Street Food to many times to count so we took the opportunity to enjoy an incredible lunch and finally learned what “Thali” was all about. Robust flavours and aroma. I was surprised that nothing served had much heat (would have enjoyed...more), but we all were overcome with such fine service and a multitude of dishes that tempted a curious palate. Everything was prepared with the utmost care. We will be back.More

4 of us went for a Birthday dinner, we all love Indian food and wanted to try something different. the place is nicely decorated, the service is excellent and so was the food. The flavours were very different to our usual Indian restaurant experiences and...we loved our meal. The curried fish in a banana leave deserves a special mention , it was outstanding. We will go back for sure.More

Some interesting dishes that you don't find on many Indian restaurants' menus. Service was very responsive. Well worth the visit. Many of the dishes are quite rich and buttery -- you may find yourself taking a doggy bag home.

Went there with family our server Nitu was excellent very attentive and helpful in selecting our dinners. for starters we had all four I think the Amritsari fish was perfectly spiced and prepared..everyone tried each others starters all were good . 2 of us had...the lamb shank meat was falling off the bone my husband had the tandoori chicken and his cousin had the eggplant a novel idea to make it look like a steak. Washrooms were very clean. Do try the Winterlicious dinner choice.More

I introduced this restaurant to my husband and he loved it! He is very pick when it comes to Indian food. Him and I both love the dishes, as they have infused with different flavours. We are from Indian origin and believe us, this is...by far one of the best Indian restaurants we have come across!! Highly recommend it if you are a fan of Indian food.More
