It’s definitely a cut above say Frans but the prices are insane. 18 bucks before tax for the Senator breakfast? Food is good but not THAT good. Also, I noticed it’s been mentioned here a couple times too but we also had crappy service. Food...More

This restaurant has a neat history and location. Unfortunately, that's where the buck stops. I live close by and wanted to try it out, but was wholly disappointed by the service and food. For a $18 sandwich, you expect a little bit of magic--we got...More

Eat with style at an affordable price here at The senator restaurant. Savor to their gigantic size sandwiches, appetizing omelette, intricate selection of breakfast all the comfortable price. They serve breakfast and coffee as well. The design of the restaurant is one of the most...More

I used to be a regular diner at the Senator. I stopped going as often because it was getting expensive for easy to make brunch food. I went in January and was shocked by the HUGE price increase for the same food. A bowl of...More

Kitschy cute old world interior, centrally located, great food and great service. We had the Huevos Rancheros, Senator Omelette and Potato Lakes - so GOOD!! Really, you need to treat yourself to a great breakfast/brunch place!

We like our diners for breakfast in PA, so we were really happy to find this place - we went twice in our 3 day stay. Everything we had was delicious - the salmon platter, the Senator breakfast, the spinach egg bowl, and the pancakes....More

For a breakfast/brunch I expect a great cup of coffee if you are charging a premium price. The coffee was just mediocre. (Also, the food was just plain..... nothing special). Too expensive for what you got!

Insane 5$ price jump on majority of dishes. Kills it for me. Also food isn’t better. They give you more beans now Was phenomenal before this jump in price

Two burgers with cheese , three coffees for sixty bucks, with tip seventy. Staff was cold and mechanical. Still really like it, food is good but meet portion was small. We also felt rushed by the staff.

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
