Delicious guacamole, chips were a mix of stale and fresh. Great wines, interesting authentic menu. Flavors ranged from very bland to very interesting

We only had appies and drinks and while delicious the prices were extravagant for Mexican. $17 for a large margarita, and 16.50 for ceviche is crazy. The small guacamole was $9.50. ALL were delicious and I noted that the main courses were reasonably priced. The place appeared very popular so I am assuming the main courses must be good as... More

Took a large group. Some were surprised to learn the difference between fine real Mexican cuisine and Tex mex. The food was delicious and service was great. Loved it! Good choices for vegetarians.

This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had outside, and possibly inside, Mexico. Stumbled on this restaurant while on a quick stopover in Toronto. It really made the stopover great to find this gem!

Took some chinese collegues for lunch to experience mexican food and it was a good experience. It wasn't my first time there and this time was no disapointment. We had tacos for everybody along with tortilla soup and some mexican beer (not Corona because that the worst beer ever). Service was prompt and friendly and food was tasty. The only... More

Second time eating here. I have always enjoyed the food here. I had Atlantico as a starter, very tasty and just a little hot! Then I had lamb (I won't even try to spell it!). Extremely tasty with refritos and tortillas. Good draught beer and very pleasant service. Certainly somewhere I enjoy.

We had a great experience at Milagro. We were quickly seated, and quickly served. This was important because we were going to a show later (I'm sure they get this, they're just off King Street where many of the big theatres are). We liked pretty much everything. The guacamole was very good, the queso fundido also. I had the mole... More

We reserved for a Thursday night dinner before going to the theatre. When we arrived the restaurant was empty (soon got very busy) but the host was unwelcoming and we felt uncomfortable and considered leaving. The waiter was friendly though and the food was fresh and tasty and he explained what each thing was as he brought it to the... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
