Coming from the west coast of Canada, we are accustomed to high quality sushi, but the presentation and originality of some of the choices were memorable and delightful. Try the flame-seared specialty (the salmon oshi with jalapeno was fantastic). The service was top notch. (And...they could make a decent Aperol Spritz, too!)More

We always have dinner here when we visit BC. This is the best Japanese restaurant in Canada (and anywhere except Japan) hands down. We've tried many dishes here over the years and it's always fresh and delicious with an Artisan Michelin star quality twist. Even...miso soup and tofu salad makes you look keep coming back for more. Staff is a look always amazing and kind. Price is reasonable for the quality you get.More

Had an excellent sushi dinner here, and I'm obsessed with the ebi oshi rolls. They have lime zest on them and it was absolutely delicious. Service was perfect. We spent $200+ for our group of 3 but it was worth it for a special treat.

Chef’s tasting menu paired with Sake. Otherworldly gastronomic experience. Service impeccable and the explanation of each dish was fascinating.

Great service from server! Brought my daughter ice cream w a candle for her bday quickly before her dad & brother left to catch the Leafs 1st playoff game. Nice surroundings in booth beside window across from bar & TV screens but noisy all around.... Echoing noise. But the food quality, quantity & flavour is no longer as good as it used to be. Hence I dropped their rating . For $45. we got 2 morsels of steak with a lobster tail that was only 3” long . What kind of midget lobsters did they find? @ $45 you’d expect larger portions than what we got. & the flavour was bland. We could’ve made it better ourselves ! That’s sad. $600. later & the only alcohol we ordered was 3 draft Japanese beers! Not going back!More

Great placer for a fusion lover, but nothing for a traditional Japanese food eater. Everything is very clean and the staff is very professional. Good place for an occasional Japanese fusion food.

Very average and overly complicates the food and presentation. We were having a business dinner and the wait staff constantly interrupted with long, overdrawn descriptions of the food delivered. It’s a restaurant that takes it’s too seriously instead of letting the food take center stage.

After having read the great reviews on Trip Advisor, we were looking forward to an evening at Miku and we were not disappointed. We chose the miso soup, sashimi,, tuna and salmon sushi and the Fondant as dessert. The presentation was eye catching and the...fish very fresh. The dessert was superb and the service attentive. The prices reflected the quality of the food. It is no wonder that this restaurant is highly rated and would gladly return if we had the chance.More

We really enjoyed our lunch at Miku. We shared Sushi and Sashimi lunches as well as a Miku roll. All the fish was fresh and tender and they introduced us to a new "sweeter" type of soy sauce. Presentation was excellent and the service was...very attentive. Will definitely return.More

From a self-proclaimed foodie perspective, every dish exceeds expectations. The novelty tastes, sights and smells of fusion cuisine.Sashimi plate was my fave.As a personal preference, still leaning towards traditional taste of sashimi, but wow, presentation was beautiful.Toro was deliciously fresh.Scallops were a treat. As for the rest of the...food that came after, the 5-course experience, sushi, and desserts, our server described all the details of each dish when served. This really helps with understanding and appreciation of the complexity of the dishes.Plates were changed after every single course of meal(Server had suggested we can share 2 to 3 small plates per person).I have not seen this impressive level of service for a long time. Patio dining really took away a lot from the experience. At times we could hardly hear the server or each other because of the loud traffic right beside us.The receptionist said she was not able to accommodate indoor dining because it was full. With their demonstrated level of creativity in the food, maybe they can find solutions to improve their patio dining experience for their customers.More

Not inside a hotel but the ground level of an office building. I don't think they have valet service at Miku.
