Lovely place, remarkably friendly service, extremely efficient and awesome food. We thought the portion sizes were going to be small because of the inexpensive prices of the dishes and so ordered quite a lot, far too much it turned out! However thankfully they let you take away left overs. Great place for dumplings.

I found this place absolutely no-frills-good service and authentic "dumpling" experience. The place is frequented by locals, university students and had a good business. Located in the buzz of many other chinese joints - but definitely stands out. All customers are served free "hot teapots" and can order food to share. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is... More

The dumplings were quite good. Everything else that I had was average at best. The service was average (I had to flag down the wait staff multiple times). From what I recall, it was cash only, which is always unfortunate. Were I to return to Toronto, I would not go out of my way to stop by.

We arrived just when it opened and ordered dumplings boiled, steamed and fried. All of them very well made and very tasty. The value was pretty OK. Recommend the visit.

Mother's Dumplings provides super fresh Chinese dumplings of all shapes and sizes, boiled and steamed. I can recommend the pork and pickled cabbage dumplings. They are tasty and interesting and one can watch the Chinese ladies forming and rolling and filling them with great dexterity.

This place has great dumplings. We had some steam dim sum and some pan fried. Both were amazing and fresh. We want to go back and try more. Definitely check this place out!

It was late that evening when we decided we needed dumplings, but Mother's didn't disappoint. Amazing food and a cool atmosphere. This place came recommended by a number of friends and it lived up to the reputation.

Got to explore china town and kensignton market. We stopped here to try new food. All really enjoyable. Polite and fairly quick service.

What a great city we call Toronto and China Town makes it even better! Mother Dumplings! Love this place! Hopefully they'll have the duck headless!
