It was 1:00 on a weekday and this large space was packed. We chose to sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table. The menu is what you would expect from a brew pub...a variety of appetizers, burger, sandwiches, salads and mains. I ordered the chicken club and my husband had the burger. Prices in the Distillery District... More

We visited the Mill St. Brewery today on our trip to the Distillery District Christmas Market. We went for lunch about 11:00 and the restaurant was less than half full. The waitress took our order and then we waited about 40 minutes and finally our food came. I had the nachos and they were quite good. I could only eat... More

We went for dinner on Saturday. There was a 3 hour wait. We couldn't get in. We got beer in the side room, off the main entrance and walked around. The lights were great but no food without long lines and wait.

I had the pizza which was delicious, one of the best ones I've had this year. My wife however had a puffy pasta that looked and tasted like Kraft Dinner; she should have had something else. Lunch prices a touch high. Lots of beer choices. They give you a few small glasses of beer to try which was good. Service was... More

Visited this place as part of a 40 person group and both the service and the food was exceptional. We did not order off of the menu however the meal that was prepared for us was excellent. The beer sampling was fun and educational.

It was a very pleasant day to head to the Distillery District to check out the Christmas Market and explore the many art galleries, shops, and eateries. We decided on the Mill Street Brew Pub for lunch and are glad we did! Salmon was our choice as a side with a tasty kale Caesar salad and as a pan seared... More

One friends and I visited this past Friday and had an excellent time and decent meal. Our food was cold when it came to the table and the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak at all. This would be nice for a club, but a dinner with friends it was just too much. All we... More

This place is huge and must get very busy in the warmer months. This is a must visit whilst in Toronto - call in whilst exploring the Distillery district.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
