Very nice relaxing atmosphere. Party of three, we ordered one platter for two and one feast for two, All the meat was cooked to perfection, very tender. Rice was very flavorful and not dry. Both salads were fresh and delicious, I loved the add of pomegranate seeds. Only thing that disappointed me was the pita served with the humus, it was plentiful but the store bought type and tasted stale. All in all a very good experience and this will be our go to for Arabic food from now on. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Last Thursday, February 20th, we visited Souq for dinner. It was the fourth time I had been, third time for my husband. First of all I want to say what a pleasure it is to walk into a restaurant that is so clean. I am a clean freak and I notice everything and this place including the bathrooms, are spotless! Ok let’s get down to the food. The best Fattoush salad anywhere...to die for. We love middle eastern food, mostly Lebanese, so the menu was a little different as far as names, but similar too.....the food is over the top fantastic. We loved everything we have had there and on Thursdays they have 2 for 1 Kufta...fabulous! Unfortunately no alcohol, but that’s ok. It keeps the cost down! We will be back again for sure!

My friend and I had an excellent experience at Souq last night. It was our first time trying the restaurant and we cannot wait to go back!
Our waitress, Lara, was especially kind and made us feel comfortable during our entire dining experience. We appreciated her food recommendations and that she explained the restaurant's points system to us. She was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
All of the food we had was incredible and huge portions! I would highly recommend the fattoush salad (incredible dressing and love the addition of pomegranate seeds), the cheesy garlic potatoes, and arayes (thank you for the recommendation Lara!). For a main, my friend and I split the chicken tikka and it was the perfect amount of spice and cooked to perfection. The fresh mint lemonade was also incredible- the perfect summer drink!
We finished off our meal with Turkish coffee and a piece of cheesecake. It was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time! I cannot wait to go back with my family.

My friend and I decided to try this place after seeing the reviews online.
The place was nicely decorated, however we unfortunately did not have a great experience. We were probably one of three tables in the restaurant, the service was very slow. We ordered the haloumi salad to start, the cheese tasted completely off, like it had gone bad. Then we had the jwaneh (chicken wings) those were over cooked. For our main course my friend and I shared the tajine and the macarona. We found both dishes to be very bland, with no flavor and the lamb was very hard and chewy and the macarona was over cooked.
The server wasn’t very friendly, more so felt like she just wanted the night to end. They didn’t seem to care that we barely ate our food.

They are so very polite and kind, so I hate leaving this review. I spent $70 on only 3 main dishes which I have no problem with if the food is amazing! It was ok,. Very salty and very very very small portions especially the beef. 6 small pieces. Maybe it was an off night for them with everything going on. I wouldn't recommend them but I do appreciate how friendly and kind they were on the phone and the delivery driver was so very polite.

This was our first time having Lebanese food and it did not disappoint. We ordered the feast for two and it was very tasty. Although our meat platter and rice was lukewarm, they offered to make us a fresh batch which we said wasn't necessary as it was still very tasty. Well, they went the extra mile and gave us a $25 gift certificate to come back and we definitely will. That is great customer service. The butter chicken and garlic sauce were my faves and I loved the fattoush.

I called in a last-minute catering order for eight people over the week. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were able to provide appropriate direction to assemble an appropriate vegetarian meal for our party and circumstances. The food, as ever, was delicious, the quantities were frankly *huge,* and the price was eminently reasonable. I would absolutely use Souq again for this purpose.

The food is different from most Middle Eastern restaurants and I always enjoy trying different cuisines but I think the reviews are high for this place. Right off the bat, I don't know who ordered the chairs but they are extremely uncomfortable. The food was average and I thought the prices were fair, and the service was good although we were the only people there. It is always nice to try different foods.

I ordered food for a small family celebration and I can not be happier with the choice! We had biryani chicken, cauliflower tahini, veggie moussaka as the culinary stars on top of the kabobs. It was tasty and very different from the oriental food we have known, quite plenty and swiftly delivered. I would recommend it wholeheartedly!

I've come to Souq for dinner twice over the past year, both times with friends. The food has been consistently good and is always beautifully presented. The restaurant has a pleasant, quiet atmosphere on week nights...so quiet that I hope that more people will give Souq a try!

the food was good but thought it was expensive for 5 chunks of chicken a cup of rice and piece of pita bread ($25.00 with tax). The entre came with one small take out container of hummus and one small container of garlic spread, when asked for a second of the garlic was charge $2.50. Service was ok, had to ask the server for more water, we were one of two tables in the restaurant. I found the atmosphere dark and dingey. I would not eat in again, probably better as a take out restaurant but expensive for what you get.

My fiancee and I ordered takeout from souq for lunch. We ordered the mixed grill, cauliflower tahini, fattoush, wings, and the biscoff cheesecake. Every single item was great. The beef and chicken was cooked and spiced to perfection, the rice flavourful, wings were A+, and cheesecake was delicious. We tend to have a more "american" palette and decided to take a risk and bit and try souq, and are extremely happy we did. Their food is for all palettes, and they have a great variety to appeal to everyone. We highly recommend their food and will absolutely be ordering again.
All of this to be considered, their takeout food was delicious and arrived warm, I can't imagine how good it is once they are able to re-open in person!

A friend of mine recommended Souq as she had recently ordered and loved it. I ordered a cauliflower tahini dish and the falafel sliders. The cauliflower tahini dish was one of the most unique flavours I'd ever experienced. Slightly sour and bitter, rich, and so flavourful. The cauliflower was also super tender and delicious.
The sliders were good but I found them a touch dry. It said they came with a few different sauces but they had no sauce on them and only a sauce on the side (which was delicious I might add)
Overall, I found the restaurant decent and I'd likely order again and try something different. Definitely worth a try.
I might also add that they are extremely pleasant which is an added bonus :)

I had very high hopes for this restaurant given the excellent reviews so perhaps its what I ordered that was the problem. First off, the ambiance and decor was wonderful and the staff were attentive but my food was nothing special. I was hoping to order something from the "grill" section of the menu which I saw online because that came with a side of fattoush and vegetables (and i like my vegetables!) but this options wasn't on the menu in the restaurant. Instead, I ordered the cauliflower tahini with tanoor bread. I was expecting the bread to be similar to laffa (soft and doughy) but it was very thin and hard. The flavour of the cauliflower tahini was nice but there was a lot of sauce and maybe 4-5 pieces of cauliflower. If I come back I will definitely try something with meat instead and skip the tanoor bread.

Many choices of foods and coffees. Great atmosphere friendly staff. Built my own omelette and tried beef bacon it has its' own flavours that should also be enjoyed on their own. No portion control here. I could not finish what they gave me. Will go back and tantalize my taste buds with the dinner menu.
