This is a nice pub with a good selection of beer. It's not the place for craft beers, but there are a few local options and a decent number of lagers and ales. Looked like a well-stocked bar, as well. Food was mixed. The poutine...was very good. Crispy fries (maybe battered?) That held up to a generous portion of savory and quite salty gravy, with creamy cheese curds. I wasn't impressed with the bone-in wings. I couldn't tell if they had a coating coating, but the texture was just a bit tough on the outside. The buffalo/garlic wet sauce was pretty good, but the spicy mango dry rub was barely so-so and the seasoning was very thick. I'd definitely go back, but probably avoid the wings.More

Located near the river and the tunnel, The Loose Goose is a smaller place with a decent menu. I had a chicken club sandwich with tater tots, very filling. Chicken was grilled how I like it. Had a Creemore beer, which you can’t find on...the US side of the border. Good service too. Would return.More

Went there for very early dinner and was surprised how full it was. Had to settle for sitting at the bar. Ordered a hamburger with the sweet potato fries. Burger was excellent, well done just like I ordered and still hot when it arrived. Frieds...looked better than it tasted, but at least I tried them. Overall very enjoyable food and good experience!More

Very nice bar with a great outdoor seating area. Short walk from casino, only had a couple beers but food, especially the wings looked delicious. Beer was ice cold and reasonably price. Very friendly staff. will return for lunch next time.

We went there for lunch while visiting Windsor, Ontario. We ordered the Club Sandwich and the Smoked Meat Sandwich, and a Caesar Salad to share. The portions were quite decent. The service was friendly and prompt, and the prices are acceptable.

It quite literally took us 2 hours to get our food and I wish that was an over exaggeration. The food was good but I have never waited this long in my life for a meal to be served.

Casual, comfortable, corner pub kind of place with a typical menu; although they were the only place in Windsor (that I know of) that has Montreal smoked meat, which I am a sucker for. Place could use some TLC when it comes to cleaning, e.g....cobwebs where walls meet ceiling. Not bad, though. We enjoyed our lunch there. The local Walkerville beer was easily quaffable. Played some cool Britpop music.More

Came in with 12 people and felt unwelcome from the get go. They couldn't accommodate us (we were told) because some of us were sitting at the bar and some of us at a table next to the bar. Staff were incredibly rude, especially the...waitress. We'll never go back.More

I have ordered to go a number of times through the Covid year(s) and Loose Goose failed consistently to get the order right. After a year of staying away I decided to give Loose Goose another chance and they still couldn’t get the order right....Even when you prep Loose Goose of their failures they don’t seem to care. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.More

Two couples on a warm summer Monday night. Arrived at 515 pm and no trouble getting seated on the outdoor patio. Nice and shaded by the nearby buildings. Our server Victoria was funny, efficient and helpful. It just happened to be wing night where you...get 2lbs for an additional $4. Couple of dozen flavours of sauces and dry rubs. Good tasting and plentiful salads before hand. We left stuffed, happy and pleased to have chosen this restaurant.More

Service after sitting was slow but once the server came to our table, drinks came quickly as did the food. She also checked in a couple of times. My husband had wings and he enjoyed them. I got the perch and salad which was delicious...and a lot of food! We’d go again if in the city. Quite a nice patio and very busy on a Monday night.More

The food is good as far as bars go. It is a little pricey, but that goes with the location. The place gets noisy on crowded weekend nights sometimes. Not a super-clean restaurant. I will visit again though.

Enjoyed dinner and a few beverages. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich with Swiss cheese was great; had it with tortellini soup, delicious. My son had a chicken wrap with fries (lots of fries). Very tasty. Lots of draft beer choices available. Amazing selection of scotch,...Irish whiskey, bourbon. Tv’s for sports. Staff very friendly and efficient. Prices reasonable. Saturday nite and the place was packed, but no pressure to eat and go. Server asked if we wanted the bill or did we want to relax and perhaps have another beverage. My only issue with the management was their goofy reservation system. I called and left a message for a reservation. After a few hours and no call back, I called again and got a person. She suggested that I use the reservation system on line and I would get a response shortly. Well next day at 2pm no response. Called again. Got a person who said someone would answer my request. I wanted a reservation for 6:30 that evening. Kept pressing the issue with the person who reluctantly said she would check with the manager. Came back in a few minutes and said they thought there was a swim meet in town and that they would not take reservations. I said “now was that so hard” , you need to look after potential customers better. She suggested we could be a walk-in. So we did and do not regret it. Either take reservations or not. Regardless of the bad management, the dining experience was good and would go back. Appeared to be a lot of locals eating there.More

Not far from the casino at all! About a 5 minute scenic stroll along riverside drive will get you to the Loose Goose with ease. Call ahead for group dining as they often fill up quickly as it is a favorite spot for dinner.
