Do yourself a favor and get the apple fries! The regular fries are great too! My first try at a lobster roll.....meh! They were good but not my favorite way to consume they tasty crustaceans. Great view and friendly service.

Fries were very salty. Gravy too thick and not nice taste. Maybe having an off day with the food but the 2 ladies were very friendly!

Was looking forward to trying my first lobster roll and wanted to support local so I stopped here. I should have walked away when I noticed the clear bin had not much lobster mixture in it and it was out on the counter (not in...the fridge) while both ladies were busy talking and not prepping any orders. I was further grossed out when the two ladies were making my order…with their bare hands. No gloves. They touched non-food items and then continued to prepare my order. No hand washing in between. One was making the fries while the other was cutting the roll in half and placing it on a panini grill. The fry lady then came over to fill the roll with the lobster mixture when the other lady didn’t know how. She was using her finger to push the lobster mixture off the spoon onto the roll. I was totally grossed out but at $22 and being hungry, I ate some of the fries and some of the roll. Worst $22 I ever spent - the roll was tasteless and bland. The fries were nothing great either. Take your $22 and get a proper lobster roll elsewhere.More

Awesome lobster roll and amazing fish and chips. Friendly staff. The fries are super crispy and surpringly not too greasy.

I’m a born and bred Islander that returns home every summer. I saw the “Chip Shack” reviewed on the tv show “Ya gotta Eat Here” and wanted to try this restaurant. My husband and I each ordered the lobster roll and fries. The fries were...good. The lobster roll was sub-standard; the lobster was over powered by what I’d say was garlic butter on the roll which was dried out on the grill. I couldn’t get the taste of lobster after the first bite. This definitely was not the standard of lobster the Maritime provinces are know for.More

Waited way too long for mediocre food at not cheap prices. Much better food options nearby, certainly wouldn't recommend this spot for a quick or tasty snack. I observed staff being rude to customers who after long waits were just wondering when they were going...to get their orders, then the staff would mock customers when they turned their back.More

Service was slow; however, the two ladies were quite entertaining to watch.  Ordered fries and found them 'overrated'.  I don't see what the hype is all about.

Mom and I went on a calm lovely day. The gluten free food was scrumptious! The lovey lady does it all herself. Virtual Hug
