There was nothing that they served that was in any way competently prepared. The "hakibut" (really hadock) was overdone to leathery tastelessness. Fries were done in cool dirty oil so that they were black and soggy. Even the salads were poor. . Not a place...to eat. .More

Ate here prior to seeing a play (it is located next to the Confederation Centre of the Arts). My daughter really liked her ribs, while I enjoyed my red pepper soup and mixed green salad. A good place to eat if you want a lovely...night eating out and going to the theatre.More

Four of us made reservations at this restaurant because three of the diners wanted the lobster dinner that had to be ordered ahead of time. There were many servers standing around appearing confused with what to do and we had to explain our reservation 3...times. Once seated, the diner who had not preordered lobster asked a few questions about the menu and determined that the coleslaw and the vegetables both contained an item she was allergic to. (The menu indicates you should make the server/chef aware) . She asked to substitute a small Caesar salad ($4 on the menu) for the two items. The server had to go and ask the chef and returned saying, no the chef says he won’t substitute it…no discussion. So we decided to all leave, which took three servers and 10 minutes to pay for our 4 drinks. Unbelievable that this restaurant would let a minimum of $250.00 dinner bill walk out the door over a $4.00 salad. With all the confusion and lack ofservice, I’m not sure the dinner would have been worth it anyway.More

Delicious! We ate here last evening before going to Tell Tale Harbour. We ate outside and people watched while waiting for supper. Our waiter was brand new and he did a great job! I had a salmon dish and my husband had a steak sandwich....Both very tasty. The food was a bit of a wait but we didn’t mind at all, we were on vacation, so there was no rush!More

Went there for dinner bc trip advisor gave it a 4/5 rating. Ordered our drinks and waited about half an hour to get them. I had sangria and it tasted like just red wine. My sister had a pina coloda and had to send it...back bc the milk was sour. I had the 6 pm tenderloin steak. The steak was actually pretty good but it cost $41 and they charged me $3.50 extra for the mash potatoes which was not disclosed to me until I got the bill. Oh and the mash potatoes were cold. My sister had the fish which she said was tasteless. My brother-in-law had the lobster roll which he also said was terrible. After we finished eating we noticed the filth under the table. I will post pictures. Also the bathroom was disgusting. I will never eat here again.More

Has both indoor and outdoor dining. Friendly staff. A good variety of steaks and seafood. Tends to be busy, but has good service.

Great service from Shannon (would have never guessed it was her first day!). Bacon wrapped steak and generous portion of fish and chips were very good. Charcuterie board was just okay (meats good, cheese disappointing-tasteless cubes), our friend found the fish tacos too spicy but...could be just a personal preference. Nice selection of red and white wine by the glass. In door and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating can be noisy as there is a stage very nearby and, depending on the artist, can be a good or not so good experience. No reservations on weekends.More

The server was a very nice lady that helped me choose the best option for a lobster dinner and wine. It is a very pleasant place on Victoria Row, and I took the opportunity while waiting to step in a few quaint shops nearby. Excellent...experience, highly recommended.More

5 stars for the great food, 5 1/2 for the waitress/manager! Nice patio, enjoyed listening to the live music outside. Most delicious fries and lobster roll! Thanks for a great first meal in PEI!

We had a new server Brandon who was a real friendly character. The food was good but not great and took awhile to get food. Quite good but not outstanding.

My wife and I were out in Charlottetown on a beautiful evening for dinner. Victoria Row was packed and we couldn’t get in anywhere except for here. We started by waiting 45 minutes for our drinks, which my wife had the sangria. Was expensive and...mostly was just juice. We waited another 45 mins for our appetizer which was the seafood cioppino. The dish came out spilled all over the plate it was on, and then it hit us. The smell. Like a mix of vomit and bad seafood. I tasted anyway to give it a chance, and the seafood was most definitely spoiled. I sent it back to which the waitress smelled it and told me it was normal….ok. Next came the steak frites. The steak which I ordered medium was grey inside and covered in a viscous flavourless sauce. It was wrapped in bacon which was also grey. It most definitely looked like one of those frozen steaks you buy from no frills. The saving grace? Good fries I guess. My wife had the ginger chicken stir fry, which was almost inedible due to the massive amount of ginger. Way over seasoned. The waitress kept trying to tell us that these things were normal. She ended up comping part of our bill but the remaining still came to 80 DOLLARS. 80 bucks for potentially the worst meal I’ve ever eaten on PEI. I’ll never be back.More

Paysan board and burger love Visited Wednesday night and it was busy. Glad we called ahead to reserve. Paysan board (charcuterie board) is expensive but has a generous amount of meats and cheese cubes on a bed of spring mix. Last year's winners of burger...love have a good burger on the menu again this year. Last year's winner is still available. Decent wine list by the bottle or glass. Outdoor seating and indoor seating with Covid plastic partitions between the tables. Service was fast and friendly.More

We live in PEI and always wanted to try it out but never did well we did today and it was great. The service and food were excellent. Always love having a meal down on Victoria Row in the summer, sun is shining and music...playing it is just a wonderful atmosphere. We got the wonchos to start then I had the lobster tacos with a Cesar salad and hubby had the steak and frites and both meals were great. For dessert we couldn’t decide so we got the dessert taco and the turtle cheesecake in a jar and both were delicious.More

This was the best restaurant ever. I had a steak dinner ..amazing and my husband had a seafood pasta dish with Scallops and Shrimp. We shared a mussel appetizer..the best ever.

Winners of 2020 Burger Love and they were closed after Burger Love ended for a well deserved rest. Reopened on November 6 and only their award winning burger is on the menu (with fried or garlic mashed potatoes). Pies available for dessert Perhaps our mistake...was going the first night they opened but with only one item on the menu you wouldn't expect to wait an hour. Wonton on top of Burger was delicious and, despite the long list of items on the burger, we thought the burger was just okay. Strongly recommend reservation. They were extremely busy with eat-in and take out orders.More
