We stopped in for a quick lunch. The place is much nicer inside than what you'd think looking at the outside. The music was old school and a bit depressing but the fish was a great portion and tastefully prepared. I wish they had made...More

Excellent Eatery, large portions. Bring your appetite! Friendly staff that really know how to look after you. Close to the waterfront if you feel like a stroll afterwards. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The decor, the music and great food! Don't be fooled by the outside appearance, go in and step back a few decades in time. The host was very friendly and the Fish & Chips were really good. The portions are not small, in fact we...More

A charming & authentic restaurant. Good portions, great food and even better service. Skip and his family will welcome you as their own! Best fish&chips in town.

This is an out of the way good Fish & Chip location. Down to earth establishment but good food. Location is a bit out of the way, may need GPS or main address to find. Worth the effort

We went there on a Sunday night and it was very busy. The decor is somewhere between the 50's and the 70's. Certainly not flash, but clean. The host is very accommodating and pleasant. We just had a plate of scallops and fish and chips....More

Skip and his family provide a warm welcome with excellent food and good service. It doesn't matter that the tables and chairs don't match, there is almost always a few people waiting for a table. (It's worth the short wait.)

Skip's is the best Fish and Chips on the island! I am from PEI but now live in Ottawa. Whenever I go back home to the island, Skip's is my first stop when I get off the plane and my last stop before I leave!...More

My husband and I, along with my father and brother, enjoyed our recent dining experience here. Everyone ordered the fish and chips special which included a sundae. The fish was cooked perfectly with a light crispy batter and not greasy at all! The portions (main...More

You would not be welcome there, his views on the subject and lack of remorse for comments made are enough to stay away. There are other, more welcoming restaurants in the area.

Description
Things you need to know before you get here,,, - Don't wait for a maitre D in a 3 pc suit to seat you. Seat yourself - Don't ask for ice. Drinks are served in very cold cans and bottles with a wrapped straw. Why? Cans and bottles are recycled across the street while dirty glasses require the use of fossil fuels to heat dishwasher. Don't ask for a glass of ice water with a lemon either. Cold bottled water is $1.00 - There are no germ infested re used menus at the table. The menu is on the wall. - If the waiter seems to be ignoring you its because he didn't notice you as a new customer. Don't sit there and stew about it. Let him know you would like to order.
