My husband and I ate here on an excursion from our ship. We were with a large group and had a choice of salmon or chicken. I had the salmon in lemon butter while my husband had the maple glazed chicken. Both were very good and came with soup and dessert. We enjoyed the ambiance of traditional Canadian music and... More

Our group tour arrived on the island approximately 30 minutes to soon for the group reservation so our knowledgable driver toured us past some of the farms that back onto the St. Lawrence River. A very picturesque drive and certainly would recommend that folks drive around and see some of the country side. Our lunch meal had been booked before... More

We had a late lunch at this restaurant so it was not very busy. The menu contained only four or five items, but the two we tried were very good; most were traditional french Canadian dishes. They also serve the local ciders which, if you like them, you can purchase down the road at the ciderie. The service was also... More

My son and I went for the Sugar Shack Experience offered by this restaurant at certain times. There is live music and singing, and you get to participate with the wooden clappers they loan you. There is also the all-you-can-eat menu which includes baked beans, maple ham, split pea soup, potatoes, meat pie. There are also pork rinds, but they... More

We went here upon recommendation from other family members. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. Prices were very reasonable- if you choose the "all you can eat" option - you will be so full you will not need dinner! The food was very good, but not excellent. Very traditional Quebec cuisine.

The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and it is very popular the day I visited. Service was good. The breakfast buffet is not the best quality nor very cheap for what it provides. Bacon, sausage, salads, scrambled eggs, etc. All are very typical and really there is nothing special. The fruits were actually dipped in sugary water, which tasted... More

We stopped here so I could descend the hill and look at the sugaring area and the tubes that run amongst the trees. Even though the sap doesn't run until spring, I was eager. I heard music coming from the banquet room and poked in. The server said we could come in and eat if we wanted the same menu... More

Not the real canadian meals, they only make money from tourists that do not know, unfortunately.... Most of the food is really, really bad, and even worse, since we are in a "cabane à sure" (where they make maple syrup) and this in not even real maple syrup! (they cut it with something else..) Don't be fooled! (But ask yourself... More

We arrived at 17:30H as they specified when we reserved. At that time they told us service began at 18:00. Service did not start before 18:30 for th first line of tables. We were in the second line. We found there were not enough servers for the size of the place. It was full and seats around 300. The food... More

Located on the Island of Orleans about 3 miles from downtown Quebec, it was worth the trip. The island is very picturesque. The food was a good and the people were friendly. The gift shop has people to tell you how maple syrup is collected and processed, also how to make taffy.
