Great for brunch

Great brunch/lunch diner with a fab eggs menu and the best crispy bacon Staff very friendly and engaging and coffee good too

Eggsellent

I just discovered that the neighbourhood around Masson just east of Iberville has a fantastic breakfast/brunch restaurant, a Planete Oeuf. When first you enter the restaurant is divided into two sections, a small, cozy front area and a large back area with abundant seating.The service...is quick, beyond friendly and welcoming and impeccable. It is owned by a Greek family with excellent service in English and French as well. But the food, you may ask. The menu is enormous and contains every version and combination of eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, french toast, potatoes, gauffres, omlettes, pancakes, etc. that you can imagine. But there I was surrounded by all that and I'm not crazy about eggs, etc. So they had a yogurt, fruit, and cereal combination that I ordered. You don't get that much fruit on a shopping trip to the supermarket! Of course they have every coffee but I don't drink that either. They have freshly squeezed juices but even better was a dual combination smoothie. You can choose any two flavours and they'll mix the up for you. I had mango/pineapple, tangy and delicious and refreshing. My companions all had various egg/meat/ potatoe dishes and they were all enormous with tremendous fruit garnishes as well. The general verdict, fantastic.The prices are very reasonable for the amount you get. I had a mid morning breakfast and couldn't eat again until supper. Why go to the chain breakfast outlets when you can savour something more unique and eggsellent?!More

Excellent eggs

Very tasty eggs! Great service. The decor is a bit uninspiring and the coffee isn't great. But the eggs were so good I would go again!

Fantastic breakfast/brunch place

Great choice of breakfast items, including 'specials' that are especially copious (and well-prepared!). They are generous with their fresh fruit 'decoration', and their fresh fruit cocktails are always yummy. Good service, too. Can be crowded for weekend brunch, but that's a good sign. They also...offer good lunch options. Interesting, quirky decor, too.More

A sympathetic place for breakfast or lunch

During the weekend, I like to go in that local restaurant to have breakfast or lunch with friends. It is a large place, there is always room for patrons, if you wait on line to be sit on a table, it won't be long and...the menu is convenient for every tastes. Moreover, the plates always include fruits. The service is efficient and the bill is friendly... I go there for years and I've never had a bad experience.More

Really Fresh food

Stopped there for breakfast and was really blown away. Fresh food, nice service and AMAZING breakfast Potatoes. A definite repeat when in this area .... Actually I was drive over and do a detour to go there..... Great job for Breakfast.

Great breakfast spot

If you're hungry this is the place to go!!! Very busy restaurant but service is fast and friendly. I usually choose my meals from the brunch list as it comes with a great tasting fruit cocktail that is served in a MASSIVE glass. The menu...has a vast variety of breakfast options and you won't be disappointed with your meal!More

Great Breakfast

Had smoked salmon eggs benny here and grilled cheese. We were pretty happy with our breakfasts and the wait staff was good.

Great bang for the buck

I don't know what restaurant the other reviewers went to but we wanted a nice lunch and this place caught our eye while on vacation. We had the lunch special that included an app, an entree and a desert all for about $10 each person....It was tasty and I would go again in a heartbeat! Plus they spoke English which we appreciated!More
