Amazing Restaurant! I come every time I'm in Montreal and heartily recommend it to friends. Fantastic concept - profits are donated to charities, including youth in the arts in Montreal. To support this mission, all wait staff are volunteers. I recall that the only paid...More

This place has a different model in terms of the service. The staff donate time and the kitchen provides food. The returns are donated to youth programmes in Montreal. That’s not ordinarily a great model for tasty food but it was not disappointing at all....More

Robin des Bois is an amazing concept. A restaurant that gives a portion of its profits to local non-profits, and where you can volunteer to work in the kitchen or dining room. My colleagues and I did just that, and what an evening we had!...More

Description
Robin des Bois is a not-for-profit organization which donates all its profits to four field organizations working directly in the urban setting. The community: at once our motivation and our inspiration. It is staffed, for the most part, by volunteers, and all the profits made by the restaurant and through the sale of merchandise are redistributed to local charities working directly within the community to ward off solitude, social isolation and poverty.
