Nice specialty macaron shop in the Plateau. They have a great selection and very reasonably priced. Try their seasonal flavors.

Loved this cute little shop. So colourful, beautiful displays. Lots of choices. The macarons were delicious and the prices were very reasonable.

They made my macaron wedding favours. I was so happy I found this place as they boxed the macarons and put the bow and tag. Lifted the weight off my shoulder by offering this service. Everything was delicious and cute. Love it!!

I'm a sucker for sweets and boy did these macarons hit the spot! Every flavor was amazing, you really have to try as many as you can! The woman who served us at the counter had fantastic suggestions and explanations on the whimsical flavors. This was a true delight!

So glad to have found this cozy store! Thanks to TripAdvisor, I came across Point G during my spontaneous one-day trip in Montreal. This place was like a macaroon heaven. I won't say they are cheap but much cheaper than they are selling in Toronto (almost half of the price). The lady who helped us was very patience and friendly.... More

I love going to Point G. They have the best macarons! They are not that expensive. I bought two boxes of macarons; they were 10$ each for 6 pieces. The staff there was very helpful and super friendly!!

Came here for the Macarons and I was not disappointed! Tried a few flavors my first day and ended up bringing home a dozen for my family. They also have a small shop in the Jean-Talon market if you would like to experience the flavors there. Poppy and Lavender are the best flavors!

We took the subway from downtown and then walked during rush hour with our two kids to try this spot and we did not regret it. We were anxious to compare the macarons to our local place in Halifax - Le French Fix Patiserrie - both have excellent texture but I'd say Le French Fix wins on flavour. There was... More

Point G is a great place to visit. It's a bright, fun shop located in a trendy district of Montreal. The macaroons are simply out of this world! And with so many different flavors to choose from it was hard to pick which ones we would bring home. I've never had macaroons quite like these before, with the crispy crunch... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
