I picked this based on its rating from Trip Advisor, and was not disappointed, and can not express enough how great the food and service are, as well as the pleasant and welcoming atmosphere provided by the host/owners. Great wine list with quality, not quantity,...More

We reserved a table at this small gem a week in advance based on the reviews in TripAdvisor. The reviews were absolutely correct! From the moment we walked in to Catherine's gracious acceptance of my hideous French, to her patient explanation of the items on...More

We were delighted to have gotten a last minute reservation for a Thursday evening at this lovely bistro that is usually very booked up. Maybe it was the rainy weather, but whatever the reason, we were glad to have an opportunity to eat here. From...More

Living in Montreal, you may not know this place unless you've logged in to Tripadvisor. It is not one of the overrated restaurants you only hear about - which makes it very special. The food is delicious and the service is top. It's easy to...More

With a simple, pleasant atmosphere, this restaurant has a capacity of about 35 people. The service was very pleasant. Not overly intrusive as in some restaurants, but available when required. Dinner appetizers are from $5-15, mains between $20-$30, and deserts $6-$9. Given the excellent preparation...More

I'll start this review with the only negative thing about Bistrot Duo - the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Everything else (the important things) was great. Very, very good food, nice portions, all very well cooked. The service was perfect. I had salmon fumee, canard...More
