We were going to another bring your own wine restaurant which was closed without reason. Another couple showed up and they were also surprised. I asked them about another good restaurant and they proposed Monsieur B. We were surprised by the very good portion and the quality of the presentation and the food. We took the 55$ six course menu... More

I have had dinner at Monsieur B many times in the last two or three years and I have never ever left disappointed. The food is just art! The service always excellent. I wish I could dine here everyday! Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Canada. I can assure this because I travel to every city in Canada every... More

My son just moved a few houses away from the restaurant and he had been raving about it. Justly so, excellent ambiance, impeccable service, and the 6 course meal is worth experiencing . At $52 is a real steal. Appetizers, entrees, main and a killing fraise sorbet with limoncello in between meals. Then the main! Carrot cream soup, agnolotti, risotto,... More

6 course prix. Each course was good. It's BYOB, small and the service was excellent considering the place was full all night long. If your looking for quiet you may want to consider a week night where maybe there are not so many people.

Me and my boyfriend are locals in Montreal and he took me to this charming and intimate restaurant for our anniversary; this is a bring your own wine so you will not feel bad about spending a little bit more on food. We got the Table D`hote, which was so good, my favorite was the Foie Gras entrée. The presentation... More

With a 6 service table d'hôte at a good price, it's a good place to eat, relax, and share a bottle of wine with your loved one, or have a good time with friends. Food lovers won't be disspointed

Found this restaurant on the website for "bring your own wine" restaurants. Excellent food and service. All you old bistro favourites with some really creative flavours. They have a prix fixe tasting menu or a la carte. We ordered an appetizer and two mains and left happy and satisfied.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
