We really enjoyed our experience. The restaurant is Portuguese and is so full of colour and collectables and interesting photos etc. From the sounds of things the lunch rush had been very busy and even though we arrived in the later afternoon the server was...very pleasant and helpful. the menu has some sandwiches, crepes, omelletes, soups and more. I had the chicken churrasco and my friend had the vegetarian pate sandwich. Both were very good. As a treat we ordered the Portuguese tarts for dessert. Wow! they were so delicious. The place had a real family feel and the the customers all seemed to be regulars. No credit cards accepted, cash only but they do have an ATM. Duluth is also a great street to walk.More

Delicious fresh food and healthy smoothies for breakfast. Friendly staff make you feel so welcome. Will go back for lunch on our next trip to Montreal.

Had Sam's favorite omelette and loved it. The place had great atmosphere and felt very Quebecois which made the food taste extra special.

Had a great experience at Chez Jose. Took the whole family and even though we were a large group, they were very accommodating and fiund us 2 tables. It was very, very busy but that is a sign of a good place and the wait...was well worth it. All of us had a tremendous meal. My wife had the Nemaste omelette and I had the Mexican omelette. Both were fantastic but I think the Mexican omelette is the crowd fave. The waitress was charming and attentive. Would recommend it but try to go before 11. We will be back!More

I love the seasoning they put on the eggs! The food was quick, hot, and tasty. Very unassuming spot, I would definitely say this is a hidden gem.

We came here with a small group of friends on a Monday morning and were completely neglected by the staff. We were disappointed by the way they were unable to accommodate 5 guests. After waiting an hour and a half, we were not seated inside...and had to make the decision to order take out. Even our drinks took about 30 minutes. Organization and efficiency is lacking which makes it very difficult to enjoy a meal without sacrificing the entire morning. We will not be coming back even though the food was good and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a somewhat quick brunch that has good food, I recommend looking elsewhere.More
