Its okay. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food though. The beans were undercooked and not as flavourful as they could have been and the hot dog was not the best quality. The place does have great atmosphere though .

I came here specifically for a traditional Montreal breakfast and got it! Did not disappoint in any way. Friendly attentive staff, generous portions and most importantly, homemade creton! This is the place to go!

The food was good. People are so friendly and humored me when I tried to practice my French even though I should know more after studying it for 10 years. This diner is really one-of-a-kind.

Little hole in the wall spot. I ordered the eggs benny which is on special Sat+Sun. The hollandase was rich and creamy, the ham was flavourful, and the eggs were almost perfect. Just slightly overcooked for my tastes, only slightly runny eggs.

As my wife, who is Québécoise, kept saying: this is just like it was at Mémère's [Grandma's] restaurant. It is authentic, tasty, home-cooked Québécois food, served in wonderful, old-style, casual surroundings.

Had two (2) thin slices of roast pork, extra-small side of mashed potatoes and a bowl of their baked beans and a Pepsi. The bill: $22.90 excl. tip! I assume typical breakfasts are a better buy!

Just had a fabulous breakfast at La Binerie. The people are so nice and service is great. The food delicious. Large portions. I enjoyed the egg and crepe. My daughter loved the eggs Bennie and my husband enjoyed the omelette. I'll be back.

We always make a point of eating here every time we visit Montreal. It's difficult to find food like this in a restaurant. This time around our group of three had the tourtiere, the meatball/pig's feet stew, and a great breakfast (which is served all...More
